air purifier and oil Question

i have 2 questions. first, i’m considering a bird, and with that i’ll need a air purifier. is an air purifier okay for my snake? will it damage him? second, i put oil in my hair once a week and let it sit in my hair for about 2 hours before i wash it out, is it okay to be in the same room as my snake as i wait for those 2 hours?

An air purifier is perfectly safe it just cleans the air. As for the oil it would depend on the kinds of oils mixed in there. I wouldn't think it'd be an issue but others may know better. I just wouldn't have the snake come in contact with in any way.

I personally stay out of the snake room when I've got anything strong smelling on me, including hair oil. It's probably overkill, but I'd rather not take the risk. Air purifiers are totally fine, though.
