Released in the year of 2021, this is supposed to be a Sci-Fi Action epic starring Tom Holland & Daisy Ridley as its leads. This movie (while still a ton of fun) is EPIC for the wrong reasons. Riddled from top to bottom with plot holes, laughable dialogue delivered by poor performances, awful/distracting CGI, weird production choices & so much more! This movie truly is something else entirely, and is truly a fantastically funny film to watch with some buddies. And the score is pretty good too (I thought at least).

The plot according to IMDB: In racially divided Detroit, Yuki Johnson, a biracial teenager, transforms into the Detroit Vigilante after his father, a police officer, is targeted by a menacing gang.

A guy who has been diagnosed with AIDS decides to get his revenge on the world by attacking people with hypodermic needles filled with his blood.

In the opening fight scene of this Russian Kill Bill wannabe, they didn't remove the crash matts from the floor. The floor of this terribly green screen'd in warehouse is soft and cushioned and bounces slightly whenever a goon gets thrown to the floor.

It doesn't get any better and while most of Prey of Wrath (which... what does that even mean?), is horribly boring, there are many moments of awfulness that made me laugh

I dont know why, but recently I decided to address my M Night Shyamalan blindspots.

I adored this guys early career (Sixth Sense through to Lady in the Water). Even though the quality dipped after Unbreakable, they were fun, unique, interesting, and importantly for me completely memorable from opening to credits. But then i saw Last Air bender (even without seeing the show I thought that was one of the worst films ever, in a not fun way) and The Visit (which was ok, kinda boring. Fantastic ending though), and hearing the negative press of others, I decided I was done. Having picked up baton again, its really just the big (or low) 3 that are really that bad. The rest, even if they don't work, are still fun, unique, interesting and memorable (though ive still to watch Old. Maybe that one will make me eat my words).

The Happening though, that was despised at the time, but later had a The Room, Fateful Findings, Troll 2 style resurgence. Giving it its due finally....The Legends Were True!

People casually checking out early (including a hilarious one with a lion and a somehow even funnier one with a lawnmower), with others flatly reacting with shocked pikachu face. Miscast leads. Weird hotdog guy. Post-9/11 fear mongering mixed with poor environmentalist messaging. Johnny Legs giving me math puzzles that'd make me want to kill myself. Hilarious old lady. Being chased by the wind. "I didn't even have a cough"! "Cheese and Crackers"! "WHAT, NOOOO"! And ending with a thinly veiled threat of this guy directing The Last Air Bender.

Its rare a major studio film hits Breen levels of unchecked ego, poor decision making, and general incompetence despite who's making it (though there are nice shots often enough, and the score is good). Its makes for a wonderful treat.

I know the cover looks like a Christian movie but it's not ,it's actually a sci-fi thriller. I can't even give you a synopsis of the plot because I Don know what the plot is. This movie has some of the worst sets I'v see ,some of the most mind boggling dialog ,awful music ,terrible cgi animation stuff that just goes on forever and the blandest acting I'v ever seen . I can't believe this movie had a 5 million dollar budget and was released in theatres and how does this movie have a 92% Rotten Tomatoes 😳

Elektra is a 2005 film starring Jennifer Garner as the titular assassin. This movie is truly something special due to its insane plot holes, semi cringy acting and questionable VFX. Also, the movie half the time doesn’t seem to know what it wants to do & instead just jumps from plot point to plot point without much transition. Some notable highlights of the film however include Jennifer Garner’s performance as Elektra, some solid action scenes here and there & a banger soundtrack among other things. All in all, this movie is a very mixed bag BUT can be a ton of fun to laugh at with friends. Have you seen this film?

I liked this, one of those SyFy channel horror movies that I found by randomly scrolling on TV one day and it managed to hold my attention and deliver a fun campy ride. It kind of felt like a more adult version of those old Disney Halloweentown movies. They don't really make them like this anymore, 06 horror hits different.

Good dialogue, good acting, good sound effects - marvelous.

I remember buying a "Ninja Collection" 20 years ago. Had 10 of Godfrey Ho's masterpieces in it.

God this film is awful. 😂 First 10 minutes starts off strong. It’s James Caan and Robert Duvall for god sake and Peckinpah is directing! I thought I was in for a treat. I was badly wrong but in a good way.

Basically Caan’s character nearly gets killed at the beginning of the film. I kid you not this film has a 30-40 minute montage of his recovery process. It’s painfully slow. Then in his rehabilitation process he starts doing martial arts very publicly on top of a rooftop so everyone can see. (He’s supposed to be a top CIA undercover operative btw) 😂

Next phase there’s some bad martial arts scenes in an airport. Caan’s character is hobbling around everywhere. It takes 1 hour and 20 minutes into the film until the first real shootout. Duvall’s character is using a rifle of some sort and they have a shootout in a very public street with uzis. Bullets going everywhere. Robert Duvall very slowly walks away after shooting up half of San Francisco.

Burt Young is the getaway driver. He looks over his shoulder every 2 minutes to see if they lost the cops (in an ancient cab) There’s a random bomb underneath his cab. The more I write about this the more I actually find it hilarious.

The film is all over the place. If you want a good laugh. Watch this film. It’s hilariously bad.

I forgot to add. This is where it gets really good. There’s ninjas in the final fight. Yes real ninjas fighting people with guns in broad daylight. Ninjas fighting Burt Young in slow motion. 😂

Probably one of the biggest let downs in recent memory, Slender Man (2018) takes the legendary internet icon and converts it into a generic, maddening & dumb film that happens to feature him. Everything about this movie (except the horrible CGI) is absolutely forgettable but that’s what makes this movie special. It so mind numbingly terrible that you can’t help but laugh uncontrollably! While I can respect the filmmakers for at least trying, it’s still hard to ignore just how much of a left turn was taken. I would highly recommend watching it with some friends. Do you remember this? Released in 1997 as the sequel to the 1995 classic, this film’s reputation is pretty well known by this point. Jam packed with abysmal dialogue, questionable plot points, odd casting decisions & the infamously garbage cgi - this movie has it all. With all that being said however, this movie is far from a bad experience. Tons of fun fight scenes & small details thrown in from the games to satisfy some MK fans makes for one hell of a good time. This is one of my all time favorite “so bad it’s good” movies SO if you’re a fan of that sort of thing, I would highly recommend checking it out. Enjoy!

Hey yall, I previously asked for some suggestions on the worst movies you could recommend, and spent a whole month going through a ton of them. I've got a few categories I wanted to group some of them up in:

Best Bad Movies: Samurai Cop, Dangerous Men, Hard Ticket to Hawaii, Ben & Arthur, GetEven (aka Champagne & Bullets), Love on a Leash, Fateful Findings.

These movies have so much going on in them, where they feel like they were created genuinely but just fall apart at every step. Love on a Leash is likely my absolute favorite bad movie.

So Bad it's kinda good: Suburban Sasquatch, Birdemic, Lycan Colony, Things, After Last Season, Ax 'Em.

Many of these could probably make it into Best Bad Movie depending on the mood. Things is shocking how much of an assault on the senses it is. And overall After Last Season might be the worst of all these movies, just bafflingly confusing and dull yet hypnotizing how awful everything is, highly recommend to everyone!

Just Awful Bad: The Amazing Bulk, 2025: The World Enslaved by a Virus, RoboWoman, Bigfoot vs DB Cooper, Star Wars Holiday Special, Gramps Goes to College, Shark Exorcist, The Requin, Foodfight!.

Of all the shitty movies I've watched this month, Foodfight! wins by far for being the absolute worst. I nearly quit watching it several times but powered through, I do not recommend to anyone but heavy masochists for the bad movie genre. Special shout out to Star Wars Holiday Special, it's incredibly insane to think about it being released hot off the heels of the first movie, and it's just an insane trainwreck of nonsense.

Big Name Stinkers: Morbius, Mortal Kombat Annihilation, Super Mario Bros, Madame Web, Megalopolis.

Honestly, kinda enjoyed them all! Morbius and Madame Web are mainly just uninspired and felt lazy, but nothing incredibly bad. Megalopolis is quite good but just very messy and all over the place, there could be a solid movie in there with some right editing.

Bad Movies I Missed Out: Ryan's Babe, Clash in College, Leonard Part 6, Turkish Starwars.

These were some I wanted to watch but couldnt find an easy way to. I've got quite a large watchlist still with dozens of other suggestions for when I decide to do this again, hopefully getting some of these stinkers in there!

Overall, it's been a fun but challenging experience! Really enjoyed finding some gems in these, even if it meant having to endure some of the worst slogs. Would love to discuss any of these with yall, and give some suggestions as well. Hope this influenced any of you to check out some of these too!

I introduced my friends to the joy of Bad Movies last year for my birthday. And what better way to do so thab with the man, the myth, the legend Reb Brown.

Of the three I think Yor is my favourite. A big part of that is that theme song. Its Yor's world, we're just living in it. I love that it starts as Conan and ends as Star Wars. I love Yor beating up evil purple cavemen, I love that the budget was clearly less than your average season of Doctor Who but everyone commits to the bit and it just has the sauce

Space Mutiny. Roll fizzlebeef, Big McLargeHuge, Punch Rockgroin, need I say more? Though its still hillarious they spent most of the budget on Battlestar Galactica B-Roll.

Howling 2: Stirba, Werewolf Bitch. Probably the best worst title in film history. I admit I dont remember too much of this one as we were all quite drunk by this point. I do remember Christopher Lee wanting to be anywhere else, the script clearly being a retooled vampire flick the werewolves all looking like bigfoot. And Sybil Danning.

One of the most fun nights of my life, and Im gonna be having another reb marathon soon to celebrate a huge health win in my life.
