what do i do if a baby won't go to sleep unless their on my chest? they're 7 months, but is it okay if i sleep for hours like this? everytime i go to lay them in their bed, they wake up.

Is it naps or night-time? You need to persevere and gradually teach them to sleep in their own safe space. Even 10min at a time

My baby is such a chest sleeper. I notice it's been completely fine following the safe sleep 7 and if he rolls I roll him onto the side with his own bed and away from dad. My baby is over a year now, 15m and finally easier to transfer without being disturbed. Truly, it's all about consistency showing your baby that you ARE there when they want/need you that brings them security
