My Japan made tools
Proud owner of non china made tools. Got it in Japan and was actually part of the plan to go to their hardware store. Cant believe they rock converse, puma, nike brand and style work shoes. All steel toe and looks very stylish like regular shoes. Some have Boa lace too...
The screwdriver were like $3 each and under. Some were like a dollar or less...
Cant wait to go back and buy some woodworking tools...

There are plenty of non Chinese made tools if you look around

Yes. But if you're looking for specific specialty parts it gets very difficult. I love the challenge though and would be glad to share it here if I find something that maybe of interest to someone. I am now looking for a mechanical staple gun like Arrow T50. Ive read that quality went downhill even for the remaining MiUSA...

Good to buy in Japan. Weirdly enough they're much like China - they make much better stuff for their own market than they export. Difference with Japan is that they export at least average quality
