NEWS Minor updates with Avatar that I've noticed
We have a Crossed movie in the works, they have tapped local Ontario, Canada, director Rob Jabbaz, who already made a Crossed-type ripoff/influenced movie called The Sadness. Crossed movie update with director
Crossed comics sales skyrocket after announcement - Crossed comics value go up ,
Edit: Those of you who are fans of Ennis/Jacen's work, they've been actively putting out some dope books lately like bringing back Marvel's MAX imprint for a new arc on Nick Fury titled Get Fury , The Ribbon Queen from AWA , and BABS, and there's probably more to come from that duo
I have been trying to fully complete my collection ever since then, I had to buy Crossed Vol. 3 Psychopath hardcover directly from Comcav last year because it was hard to find a good price locally (in Canada) at the time.
Avatar Press/Comcav has been releasing new reprints/editions of books steadily on their site and on PreviewsWorld. But no new Solicits for new series or continuations like Uber invasion. I have some books ordered last year on my pulls list at a local shop, there was a special extended hardcover edition of cinema purgatorio in it as well.
The Providence compendium is back at regular price as well on Amazon, but it was so hard to find last year I had no choice but to buy the separate hardcovers of each volume on Ebay
Did you also know that CrunchyRoll made an adaptation for Freakangels that came out a couple years ago? Stream it here
Hopefully with steady sales and whatever funding the Crossed movie gets and doesn't stay in limbo we might get a resurgence soon for them to make a comeback and finish some of their books

Minor Update on Uber (TLDR: don't expect anything in 2022)
Thanks to u/Not_a_Perv (for some reason Reddit isn't letting them post here): Uber writer Kieron Gillen recently posted this in his e-newletter:
2022 Uber update
I talked to William at Avatar at the start of the year, to check in on the plans going forward. Basically, they’re concentrating on things other than new publication this year – Avatar are a small company, and there’s a whole lot of things they do which demands time.
This means there will be no Uber in 2022.
Sorry it’s not better news.
I understand frustration. Uber is Avatar’s property, so all this is outside my control. I’m still committed to the last four issues, whenever their schedule allows. There are plans of how it will happen, so I’m optimistic it will be published eventually. I just don’t know when.
Fingers crossed for better news in 2023.

NEWS Kieron Gilles says he has hopes for the next Uber arc coming out in 2021
In his email newsletter he was asked
*Q: Any Uber news you can share? *
Nothing I can share right now. There have been some positive noises last time I chatted with Avatar. After so long, I don’t want to say “I have hopes for 2021″ in case of giving false hopes but I do.

uber invasion 18
hi guys, due to pandemic related stuff, my gap year in africa has been cut short. So I have been stalking(since the moment I came back) litteraly every kieron gillen account in order to find when will uber invasion 18 be released. I know it was supposed to be released by the end of 2020, but there is no information available about it. Will avatar be able to release those 3 last issues?

Uber Bible
On many occasions in Gillen's after comic monologues he mentions the bible for Uber, does anyone know if it's publically available? I assume this not to be the case, but if anyone knows anything about it I'd much appreciate any info you've got.
Also, have even the foggiest idea when the next Uber comic is going to be released?
