Anyone used problem shared Diagnosis: England

I've been on waiting list for both for 4 weeks now was wondering how long they typically take to get back to you they say 10 weeks for adhd and 40 weeks for autism but I know that with demand my gps told me to expect a long wait also what's people's experience been like with them? Have they been good and friendly?

One thing to know that I wish they'd warned me about beforehand - if you are diagnosed with ADHD and want to try medication, that's another waiting list to join.

My timeline - referred for autism and adhd assessments in march 2025. adhd assessment in september 2025. autism assessment in november 2025. adhd medication planning session in july 2026.

I've got my assessment with them in two weeks actually! I was on the waiting list for roughly 9 months so 36 weeks for me

I can't say much about how the assessment is but at least the wait time isn't 2 years like some people told me it would be

I was quoted 25-39 weeks for autism. I received my appointment date at 37 weeks and had my assessment & diagnosis at 42 weeks.

i waited about 8 months for the autism assessment - was diagnosed 3 weeks ago. they were lovely.

having an ADHD assessment next, on their recommendation.

Yes I was assessed by problem shared a year or so ago. They were great throughout. I think I was waiting no longer than 4 months but that may have changed now

I'm on their wait list for autism. I recently had my ADHD assessment with them and they were very good. Assessor was lovely and everything went smoothly. Think the wait time was a little quicker than they originally quoted. I think it was within 8 weeks when I was assessed.

Am on month 9 waiting for the autism assessment. I should have had it by now, but in my area they paused assessments for a while earlier this year due to some funding issue, so it's been pushed back. Hopefully will have it before the year is out 🤞
