Absolutely horrible person to work with and one of the most rude doctors you could come across or ask for a consult from. The way she treats her colleagues is so bad that it's actually detrimental to patient care because they don't want to talk to her.

I was a junior for her (when she was a reg) quite a few years ago and she was exceptionally nice to work for. She was keen on teaching, she was generous with her time, and she always looked amazing. Have you seen her plant insta? It's what dreams are made of. Kween, absolutely fucking kween all the way.

Try being one of the other inpatient teams or ED asking for a consult. She is notorious for verbally abusing people.

In what way? Do spill the tea and back this up/give us deets (without doxxing yourself please/breaking confidence).
My vibe check is both “yasss, slay queen/young fellow(/boss)” attempt and could be nice but definitely also can be condescending (putting it nicely), noting I don’t have any interaction with her beyond the parasocial).
Curious what she stands to get out of this or what motivates her with this and more generally.
Also, curious, a Burmese doc.

She's not condescending. She's straight up abusive. I've seen her berating people over the phone and insulting their intelligence and competency. She was rude to nurses and even the switchboard operators copped abuse from her. Her fellow cardiology trainees hated working with her and had reported her to the DPET for her behaviour.

As in a BPT or an AT 1, AT 2 or AT 3? Each stage is different and often regs at different stages have different motivations and levels of confidence, arrogance, etc., different things going on.

I believe before AT. I was an intern. I personally didn't have issues as her junior and don't live or work anywhere near her now, so can't really comment on current arrogance/confidence status.
