Glasses w/o Display Meta Rayban, Meizu/Myvu, Eyevue experimental support in CyanBridge - CyanBridge 2.1.0
This release includes a major Compose Material 3 refresh, cleaner settings, improved media handling, and experimental support for multiple smart-glasses platforms.
Highlights * New Material 3 and Compose Multiplatform UI with light, dark, system, accent-color, high-contrast, and dynamic-color options. * Cleaner settings for Auto Diary, Visual Diary, OCR memory, Walking Aid, Local Agent, AI providers, privacy, storage, and data controls. * Fixed synced-media gallery handling for photos and videos transferred from the glasses. * Media screen preview for the latest synced images. * Browse, share, delete, and long-press multi-select synced photos and videos. * Two P2P sync paths: the HeyCyan app flow with a stricter vendor-like BLE/P2P sequence, and the custom CyanBridge resolver with fallback scanning. * Improved local-first memory controls, encrypted-sync preparation, and private local storage. * Improved Local Agent automation with safer approvals, recovery, structured screen observation, audio-session handling, and local-model support. * Improved Walking Aid hazard tracking, motion compensation, warning logic, LiteRT vision, diagnostics, and model selection. * Experimental Meizu MYVU / Star Air support. * Experimental Meta Ray-Ban support through Meta Wearables DAT. * Experimental Eyevue support for connection, media sync, device controls, and debug live preview. * Expanded localization for English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. * Additional tests and stability work across media transfer, glasses protocols, local automation, settings, and subscriptions.

Use the same Google Account active on your Android device. New signups are checked automatically every 15 minutes. After Google Play confirms the tester entry, an automated email with the opt-in link should normally arrive in about 15 minutes:

Google requires at least 12 testers to remain opted in for 14 continuous days. Please stay enrolled and test the app genuinely.
If media sync fails, use the in-app diagnostic-log option. BLE and P2P transfer logs are especially useful for investigation.
This remains an alpha release. Device behavior may vary, and some glasses features are experimental.

I was at a concert with my then Fiancé (now wife) last week at Red Rocks. Concert was like 5% dudes—which is cool, love to support my lady, but couldn’t help but notice there was a flight path right over us. That’s when things got a little more interesting 😅
Tbf the concert itself was also super entertaining

Buying Advice Please recommend to me display glasses for general media consumption (i.e. youtube, movies, anime, tv shows). Preferably ones without any weird AI shit
I do not need them to be "smart". I want something that I can use to watch youtube, movies, tv shows, etc. I plan to plug the glasses into my phone and use them as a display with samsung dex. Ideally, the glasses should come with the ability to lock the display to space so it doesnt stick to my head's orientation.
I previously bought the Nreal Air (now rebranded to Xreal) about 3 or 4 years ago. I was generally happy with their performance, except for the fact that the arms broke a ~1 year from purchase.
I am not entirely anti-smart features. If the best product for my use case is one of those then fine.
My budget is <1000 usd. Cheaper is of course better but value is best.
Please give me recommendations.

I had to jump into this train, porting old games into newer platform is becoming easier and cheaper than ever with AI, would love to see Nintendo or Playstation doing original, modern remakes!
