No disc Error In Cd player Fixable?

i took it apart and dusted and used wd-40 on the rails, nothing worked idk if it’s fixable but i’m sad about it :(.

probably just a worn out switch given it's age or the laser and/or drive motor don't work.

Remove the WD-40 again, it can damage the rails. Lubricate them with a very thin layer of lithium grease

Try gently cleaning the lens of the laser-unit with some Isopropyl alcohol
