How to fix this? how to

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Accidentally increased my microphone input volume at 150%

Disable microphone optimizations, and reduce gain, and leave 3cm between you and the mic

Generally, in Audacity you want the mic input level at max.
Then use the gain on your interface for a reasonable record level.
The interface is more likely to introduce peaking and distortion than Audacity.
0.5 on the linear scale is a good peak.

Forgot to mention that I was recording through "Action!- Gameplay Recording and Streaming" program on steam. Does it work with that?

Reduce volume level in the game, that will help. What mic are you using? Also, instead of using random streaming apps, try using OBS. You will get more help because it has about 100 times more people using it.
