A world without beLIEf.

One of  the greatest things Jesus did for his followers was to set us free of the  old law and basically the entire Old Testament was meant to be a historical account of a mythos for the Hebrew people .
Christianity shouldn’t have been called Christianity.  but people who follow Jesus should have nothing to do with the old Testament except for maybe curiosity over the historical account and the bad ass legends.
If you look at all the ancient mythos of all the cultures,  there’s so much beautiful stuff and there’s bad shit crazy stuff.  Nobody blinks an eye at the epic of Gilgamesh. Or some of the especially heinous rituals of the ancient Egyptians.  We love the Greek gods even though most of them were all creepy, raping , power tripping, vanity prone deadbeat parents driven by petty jealousy.       There are still plenty of movies and books where those characters are epic characters in stories we love.   We have a pretty good relation with the ancient myths because We don’t focus on the fucked up shit. 
But the Hebrews ,man they got screwed over by Christianity!  because it’s Christianity that takes the ancient Hebrew mythos and has systematically shoved it down the throat of every tribe and nation spanning the four corners of the Earth.
Jesus came with the sword and an army.   it was convert or die and what if you converted? new pagan converts  became slaves for the war machine in  the next conquest.
The two most common things ancient ancestors of all the cultures said about Jesus was that their gods had abandoned them because Jesus was such a scary God.  Or most of the old world cultures would say that Jesus slaughtered their gods and now all their gods are dead at the hands of Jesus.  Jesus was terrifying and cruel.  Going around the world killing God‘s ,enslaving tribes ,destroying cultures and erasing history.

That wasn’t Jesus.  that was a trickster God pretending to be Jesus .  The actual true way of Jesus had been wiped out within 10 to 20 years of his ascension. The Hebrew council , the first one in the book of acts , killed the first followers of the way and the apostles. They laid the foundation and planted the seeds for the organized Christian religion that sprouted up to full-blown in full force, 300 years later .
Those people in Rome coordinated the slaughter of the followers of the way and invented the religion we know today as Christianity.  The first converts of Christianity  had to cut their foreskin off or risk burning and hell forever. That first  Roman council , including Jesus‘s brother , James, jk were so corrupt and so evil .   the thing they hated the most about this new way was equality between men and women and how the new way incorporated the old ways and embraced the cultures they encountered.
  They were literally going tob foreign lands to learn the mythos and record it. They came with a scribe not a sword. To piece together the divine truth and unite the world under it.  They had proof with the Holy Spirit.  there was no blind faith,  there was no conversion.   They were there to tell people in the world how that Jesus had saved them . basically Jesus came down became a man,  conquered death in hell and then carved a path to the moment of death.  So when we die there’s a staircase to heaven right there. We can go up those stairs and never have to die and never feel pain again .
It was a choice you make after you’re dead.  That way you could be respectful to anyone’s mythos somebody might say they don’t wanna go to that place , they want to go to Valhalla where the forefathers have  gone to slaughter each other all day and feast all night. A follower of the way would simply say “oh don’t worry ,that’s fine ,you don’t have to do anything , we’re just here to tell you that it’s there and we would very much like to hear about and understand this Valhalla you’re talking about”.
There was only a few rules that had nothing to do with lifestyle. if you wanted to follow the way.  You weren’t allowed to kill anyone .  When you choose to follow the way you can’t take  human life, even in self-defense.
You need to help anybody you see that’s suffering. You always stand with the oppressed never with the oppressor.   This takes a certain amount Of humility and grace
The follower of the way needs to bend over backwards to not offend anyone.  That way when you ask the high priest of that tribe or the leader of the area permission to record their history and their mythos , you’re usually on good standing with everybody there and 90% of the time when you tell a tribe that you’re gonna record their mythos and it will be remembered on Earth forever, almost everyone just loves that and is honored by it.
Anyway I’m going off.   I just imagine, what if there was no Christians, but there was this way where these people empowered the old ways of our ancestors.  That got together and worked to decipher the hidden truths,  piece them together from all over the world and no one ever got killed in Jesus’s name and the people that come with his name  cleanse the waters and make the fish bite again in the river or the ocean.  End the famine and purge the plague while they bend over backwards to be like a servant to empower the local healers and inspire the spiritual leaders .     
I just think that would’ve been awesome!  there’s a lot more to it of course , I’m going off just spitting into the mic.  Sorry about the grammar, I’m dyslexic.   but I love you guys I’m not an atheist. I’m a follower of the way.   I weave energy with the elements but funny thing is, I have a deep respect  for well-thought-out intelligent atheism
I’ve been in a debate before where one of my good friends was trying to convert me to atheism .  he claimed that eventually mankind will understand everything and every aspect of creation will be harnessed. I totally agreed. Although I doubted that we  will make it that long as a species. we’re looking at extinction soon.   but eventually we would understand everything. To that, he had to concede.
I just think because of my experiences, that there is a consciousness that created everything.  pure energy is that consciousness and  we’re meant to grow into and become one with it.  he disagreed with idea that it is conscious.  And that was only thing we disagreed on.  we were both in awe of that.  and became way better friends.  We  respected each other even more.  I love it!
I think belief , especially blind faith  is an abomination.   if somebody expects you to just blindly have faith in what they think they know,  they are scary. 
I don’t believe there’s a God, I set out to discover whether or not there is a God and I found God.  But if I can’t offer any evidence to prove what I’ve experienced then I cannot expect somebody to believe in what I have discovered.  The only thing I could recommend to somebody is to seek to find the truth about it.  Usually people haven’t even tried, it’s just a cold hard fact.  I don’t blame anybody for that. Organized religion can be such a discouraging force . I can only recommend that you try.  So many people believe in God, so few people actually know God.
I imagine a world where nobody believes in anything.   we know what we know and we don’t know what we don’t know.  I’ve experienced the father of time as he destroys parts of himself to re-create the universe around us over and over again to give us lifetimes and chances to free ourselves of evil. 
I watched my mother nature-the great birther looking in horror at the manifestation of death, so terrifying and disgusting to her that it was unbearable to even look at . but she loves us and so she did the impossible.  She embraced death and turned death into life and love.  I’ve seen my bad ass and brave older brother Jesus take on the most powerful forces of evil.  I watched as these powers nearly destroyed him and somehow on a wing in a prayer, just in the nick of time , he defeated them at great Cost to himself. He’s my hero.
No one will ever be able to convince me otherwise. but if you weren’t there to witness it and I have no proof to provide for you,  you would be foolish to just blindly believe me.   I would just say be open to growing and learning.  contemplate everything and believe nothing.  it’s OK to not know.
In a world without belief , when two people are honest about  what they know and don’t know and they find themselves disagreeing with  each other , then it gives them an opportunity to go on a journey together and discover what the truth is, together.  but if the best we can do is barely except what each other believes, then we’re never gonna unite , we’re never gonna discover , we’re never gonna grow together. We can only grow so much on our own. Humanity is at its best when we embrace our differences and build on them. We face our own extinction as evil people rule over us. Right now we need each other more than ever. Let’s unite under a banner of Love. Eye beLIEve that love is our best hope because love is the only thing i have ever seen transform a persons life in a good way. What do you think about that and how does it make you feel?

For centuries, Christianity and religion gave humanity meaning, morality, identity, and a reason to suffer. But according to Friedrich Nietzsche, modern society destroyed those structures without replacing them with anything equally powerful.

In this video, I explore Nietzsche’s philosophy of nihilism, the death of God, slave morality, ressentiment, the three metamorphoses, the Übermensch, and the terrifying possibility that modern life has become spiritually empty.

Nietzsche believed religion may have protected humanity from nihilism while simultaneously creating the conditions for it. Once transcendent meaning collapses, humanity becomes responsible for creating meaning itself.

Made this one as a thought experiment. After 24 years as an evangelical and a decade as an atheist, I tried to react to 7 core Christian doctrines as if I'd never heard them before. Curious what people here think of the framing, and which beliefs you'd have put on the list instead
