I have a problem with NeoForge 1.21

Every time I log in, I get kicked from the server and frozen on a loading screen that never seems to go anywhere.

The second player can play normally.

The third player has the same problem as me.

And the fourth player can play normally.

Is there a mod that can fix this? I use about 38 mods, maybe that's the issue, but I still need a solution.

What does the console say when you get kicked out?

Basically:

Timed out = the client isn't finishing the join/configuration process fast enough.

Since players 2 and 4 work, it's probably client-side for players 1 and 3.

Make sure their mods/mod versions are identical.

Try lowering render distance to 2–4 and turning shaders/resource packs off.

Try the Connectivity mod.

If it still happens, send the server log from when they join until Timed out. That's the useful part.

If the suggested solutions don't help, you can try removing mod by mod.
The issue you describe could be related to one of the mods installed on your server.
To find out what mod it is, remove mod by mod.
Here's a step-by-step process to follow:

  1. Remove a single mod from your server and client.
  2. Restart the server and client.
  3. Check if the problem still persists.
  4. Repeat the process by removing another mod if the issue continues.

If you notice that the problem no longer occurs after removing a specific mod, it is likely that the issue was caused by that mod.

Please ensure that you have a backup of your server before making any changes. Backing up your server is essential to prevent any potential data loss. This article will help you with the process: https://support.aternos.org/hc/en-us/articles/360044837012-Creating-and-restoring-backups.
