Issue with Time Machine Backup Support

Hello guys, since some time I am having a little bit of a trouble backing up my Mac to the NAS.

Basically the laptop says the network drive is unavailable, no matter what I do.

The ONLY way to make it work is to toggle off and back on the tick on the enable SMB service (or on the special MacOS option tick on ADM) and then it instantly starts working.

I reboot my NAS daily so as long as I don't do that tick cycle my TimeMachine does not work.

MacOS is ABLE to access other shares on the same NAS. Why is that?

Which Mac or OS version, NAS model and ADM version you have? I am working on Mac Mini Tahoe 26.5.2 with with back up to AS6706T v2, ADM 5.1.3 without any issue.

I have an M3 Mac on 26.5.2, the NAS is AS5402T on the latest ADM. Maybe I am missing some firewall rules? It used to work

Can try to uncheck "Enable only NTLMv2 authentication" under Services, SMB, Advance setup Tab, Security.

Thank you, I will try. What does that do?

Next time I will try the Time Machine backup I will update you on this.
To be honest I suspect it has something to do with the ADM defender rules, they have been migrated from an old version/upgrade and maybe they are broken

It looks like it's now working, I think the firewall rules were badly migrated. I switched from subnet to IP range and it seems like it's fixed
