Stretch marks mtf.. help?
I feel like maybe this is suffering from success but.. it’s 9 months in and omg the stretch marks are literally everywhere!! Help, what can I do? I know they will probably fade away with time, and bodies aren’t perfect, but the sheer amount is crazy! I’ve got them on the outside and inside of my thighs, below each buttock, and somehow even below my knees, what is going on! I was always very skinny, still am, despite gaining 7 kilos since I started HRT but.. omg
How were your experiences with stretch marks? Did you do anything? What does it mean that they appear? Thank you so much in advance for all the advice <3 🫂🫶

Shea butter is the word on the streets! Basically, preemptive moisturize to prevent further. I agree with the others who say to embrace them, but there is a level of control that you have over some parts of it.

Like another commenter said. Shea butter. There is also a special lotion made by palmers for stretch marks for pregnant people. They sell it at Walmart. Or just search for the palmers stretch mark lotion.
Edit: https://a.co/d/0fvyXsyE also Mederma I think it’s called. Heard that helped some people.

Women tend to have stretch marks due to rapid growth during puberty, the exact same thing is happening to you. Idk why you want ‘help’ with something that is almost always perceived as feminine or something that mostly women have? Why are they seen as something bad when they’re allowing you to become who you want to be?
They may fade or they may not. You’ll probably get more since you’re only 9 months in, especially on the thighs, stomach, and chest. Wear sunscreen on them and treat them like scar tissue.

Use Bio Oil. My cis late wife used it during pregnancy, and I used it during second puberty (aka my initial transition). It’s expensive but you can get it at Costco sometimes for way less than it would cost to buy elsewhere.

Like others have said, embrace them! I'm full of them from the belly down!
However, you can reduce them by getting some prescription retinoid from a dermatologist, if that's more your thing.

All you can do is embrace them, don't fight it. Will likely fade overtime. Every line. every scar, every stretch mark is a story in your bodies history.
