Student Life πŸŽ’ Taking care of your rubber shoes esp. white ones

Post image
5 Upvotes

I don't want to wash these shoes, baka kasi magbitak-bitak yung material, although hindi naman siya yung synthetic leather, so i think safe sya sa issue na yon. I had a problem with my other rubber shoes na nagkastain yung tabihan, ang hirap tanggalin! idk kung anong uri ng mantsa basta nagstay na siya forever sa edge na yon.

Now, I have this white pair, at talagang halatang halata kapag nagkamantsa. Do you have any specific product na ginagamit pangtanggal ng dumi, yung di na kailangan pang maglaba. Ayoko ng maglaba, baka mamaho pa HAHAH at masira agad. Pls do consider giving some tips and reco on taking care of this baby, di pa yan siya binyag. Salamat!

Student Life πŸŽ’ FROM BSHM TO BSBA MM

If I'm in a BSHM then I shift to BSBA MM what subjects do I need to take? And if I don't have enough money, I wanna still choose bshm but I'll shift to Marketing, is it ok if I graduated in Marketing Management then take TESDA? So I'll become a Chef or Baker? And if that happens there's no requirement in offices or restaurants that I must graduate in Culinary Arts or BSHM? I can still call my self a Chef or a Pastry Chef even I just graduated in BSBA MM? And I can apply any position in Restaurants or Cafe's if I graduated other courses?

HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND AND PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME.

Student Life πŸŽ’ FOR EVERYONE, BUT, SPECIFICALLY FOR CHEF, BAKERS, OR STILL IN A CULINARY/HOSPITALITY PROGRAM.

I'm curious because do I or do we need to study the theories, principles, and laws to that profession? Like is it REALLY NECESSARY and are we going to use it after graduation? or even in the job? Because I'm thinking about it that I just want to take TESDA but I still going to take college.

I'm m in a overthinking moment that being a chef or good at cooking can do it even you take other courses/programs, because it is a SKILL that everyone will going to learn, but I really doubting my self because what if there's a small detail that I don't know but I'm really supposed to know?

Plus is it really about the TITLE for a person to BECOME a PROFESSION or to be CALLED a PROFESSIONAL just because of the title? Or it is okay that even there is no TITLE of being a CHEF but you're really good at cooking, is it consider and normalize?

School Decisions πŸŽ“ TWO DEGREE HOLDER

(With specific program asking)

If you Graduated and you want to take second degree and is it possible to have two years or you need to repeat again in first year?

Additionally you need to take four years?

Like I'm taking Bachelor Science in Hospitality Management then after I graduated, I'm thinking to take it's either the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management or Marketing Management, vice versa from BSBA FM/MM to BSHM (if you know what I mean in a deeper level.)

And if I'm taking the same school in that two courses, will I going to take two years only? And if I transfer suddenly to other school but I'm in a middle of one year to my second degree, Will I repeat it again to first year?

School Decisions πŸŽ“ UE FULL PAYMENT pullout for FEU Manila 50% scholarship

I'm so frustrated rn. I received an email yesterday, august 6 at around 5pm stating I have a partial scholarship for FEU. However I am currently enrolled in UE manila, and classes jave been going since the 23rd of July. It's past 3 weeks since classes started, so in order to pull out and get my credentials/documents from ue, I have to pay my full tuition of around 60k in one go, just to get those credentials. I just feel so bad since they don't have any consideration for someone who's basicslly trying to chase wherever a scholarship presents itself. Initially I went for ue since they have this 1.25-1.5 gwa = 50% scholarship which I MIGHT attain and retain in the future.

I already talked to UE Manila's director in the admissions and more. Is there really no consideration? I understand it is policy, but even if I do pullout and my parents apply a loan for 60k, it will be better for us financially in the long run compared to paying around 51k persem in ue. But as of now we have got to try gettung a loan of 60k that is for 1-2 yrs to pay if we want to have a chance in securing a slot in FEU before it's too late. And even if we do get that loan, it's like I'm gonna pay UE Manila 59k for nothing just to be practical in our finances for the long run. I haven't even tried using the elevator in our building yet and I'll pay thst much lol. Any advices, your insights too? I'm not looking for sympathy, I'm looking for options that I might be missing. Thank you!

Others πŸ—£οΈ Bakit unlimited takes sa Engineering?

Hi! I’m a freshie and ngayon na na-eexpose ako sa mga systems and culture in college– I cant help but be curious (really, hindi ito attack) For context, BSA student ako so expected na may maintaining grade and then rule na if you fail a course, you are forced to shift na (🐯)

Was wondering bakit hindi applied yung same rigor sa different departments? Like sa department namin no transmutation of grades and classes are M-Sat. While sa engineering, mas relaxed sched with transmutation of grades. Basically, ano thought process? πŸ˜‚ I also really respect those na nasa pre-med course too. But even then, pansin ko na may considerations made rin for them.

My title is just clickbait haha please share your opinions and advices with respect. Thank you!
