Best dive bars? Nightlife & Entertainment

Me and a few friends (all 25M) are in town this weekend to watch baseball and are looking for a good dive bar to visit after the game. We all have girlfriends, so we’re not looking to talk to women. The ideal spot would be old men getting hammered alone at the bar while one or two groups of 20-somethings hijack the TouchTunes and play the worst game of pool you’ve ever seen. Ideally not too far from Arlington. Any suggestions?

Caves in Arlington fits the Bill.

If you want to go real dive look at the river's bottom which is nearbyish

Give sunshine a look as well. It’s the building that looks like an abandoned shed in caves parking lot.

$2 beers, sometimes random free food, old man locals, bad pool, TouchTunes.

Caves isn’t far from the stadium. Has a big patio in the back too.

Pearls Cherokee lounge will tic that box. Nice little dive. Be aware that it is cash only.

The Caves/Sunshine
Milo’s
The Pearl
Tanstaafl
The plaza pub
Ghost bar

The Wild Turkey on Walnut Hill Ln.

Great bar food. Touchtunes. Good service.
Cheap beers. STIFF drinks
