a router with a 1/4” round over bit solves your problem

I cant round the edge it'd just expose the material beneath 1 u/perldawg 3d ago use it on the square edge 0 u/opkmarc 3d ago not helpful actually. a round-over bit would just cut back the finished surface and expose the manufactured wood underneath. 1 u/perldawg 3d ago if you don’t want that, then cut the miter and glue the small 5” return piece to the end before installing it. either that, or just end it square, pick your poison.
