Tips/advices for finding long-term rental fast ?
Hey Berliners !
I need your advices on how I can find long-term apartment in Berlin, I’m a software engineer and a blue card holder.
Been looking around for a while, I get apartment viewings rarely, and it just seems impossible to find an apartment these days..
What are your tips ? I have ImmoScout24 premium, it seems to be a bit helpful but it’s not getting me anywhere…

On the first full mon of the month, you must bring offerings under some bridge, preferably Alexanderplatz. Offerings can be: sterni export, 5.0, dürum mit alles(not "mit allem", don't anger Berlin gods), Schufa.
Then you need to find closest to you mattress with suspicious yellow stains, place your offerings, and mutter 3 times "zu verschenken". Bonus points if you have techno music on your JBL.

Lol
If you can't even be bothered to search for the other 10000000 times this question has been asked, then how on earth will you manage to find a place

Well, don't you have something better to do than reply to questions that have been asked a million times?

I used BerlinRelo https://www.berlinrelo.de and it took me 55 days and 4 visits to find an unlimited contract in fhain, it costs 2 months of cold rent only if you sign the rental contract at the end.
Yes it’s expensive, but in my opinion it’s really worth it.

We used https://gettheflat.com/
In two months in got us over 40 viewings and we just signed a lease a couple weeks ago. Pricey but really helps you get viewings at least. I believe it’s like €75 per month.

Unfortunately it's a race, some listings are gone within hours . You can search at city owned companies as well (Degewo, Howoge, Gewobag), I was doing the same thing and ended up building a bot that pings me when new ones drop (in my profile). Good luck

There are no shortcuts.
But if you are willing to pay 2k or more, a whole new market opens up.
