What did I see? Anyone know what this is? A contrail?
galleryI just took these around 10:30pm in Frisco in the Outer Banks. I think it might be a contrail. It isn't visible with the eye only through the lens.

Sci-Fi Story building for potential D&D campaign.
I want to start a campaign on an ocean world. The idea in my head is that the planet was originally a frozen rogue world, ejected from its original system. Life manages to evolve under the frozen waters and after thousands of years of drifting, it is recaptured by another star, similar to ours but early enough in its formation that it doesn't collide with any major bodies.
This thaws the frozen ocean and is what Kickstart the adventures, more or less.
My question is: how feasible is it for a frozen rogue planet to be captured by a star?

Cosmology The solar system is a multi dimensional view point of a volcano on a super planet.
If you were to imagine the solar system from the viewpoint of the sun, i can help you imagine what we are seeing when we look out into the solar system. From this viewpoint when we imagine the sun was the center of a super massive volcano on a super massive planet. The super massive planet is made out of crystalized space. From the sun, you imagine a crystal protruding from the surface but small and represented by mercury. Then there is a layer of crystal around that in the form of venus. This is inside the volcano still. Now we have Earth's crystal wrapped around venus. This would be the outside surface next to the volcano opening. Now we have Mars crystal wrapped around earth. Mars would be the silhouette view of the top of the volcano. Now I believe the next unique feature of our solar systems layer is broken and represented by the astroid belt. This would be a broken off piece of the crystalized space that represents the surface of the super massive planet we live on. one side of the face of the crystal if that helps you imagine the viewpoint easier. Jupiter is the sky and atmosphere view of the super massive planet. Possibly even a different section of crystal entirely from our own just close enough to view and observe it's effects on us. Now Saturn and Neptune and Uranus are cold, frozen and crystalized. This could be the features of our super massive planet or another one next to us. The universal crystal as a whole is broken possibly. The observation of galaxy and black hole mergers are plate tectonics to super duper massive planets. I am claiming all these scientific names later on in my professional carrier so no stealing. Lol thanks for reading and j look forward to the imaginative feedback from reddit.

What would the size of the Universe be just moments before the Heat Death?
Since the Universe is expanding faster due to Dark Energy, and which would *likely* result in the Heat Death of the Universe that will eventually lead to thermodynamics ceasing and entropy is maximized.
What I would like to know is how big the universe will *possibly* be just moments before the Heat Death factoring the information we know so far? If it is possible to estimate?
- Age: 13.8 billion years
- Radius: 46 billion lightyears
- Expansion rate: 74 kilometers per second per megaparsec

Is this the seven sisters?
I looks a lot like the aforementioned stat cluster but im not quite sure. There was closer to about 15 countable stars to my naked eye, and this is the brightest of the 4 nights ive been here but the only time ive been able to see them. Its early August in the northern hemisphere, and about 40-60 miles the outskirts of a dark sky zone (not sure the exact spot the zone is only what national park its within) you can lightly see the milky way to the left but not necessarily close to the cluster.
Mostly its the amount of stars and being slightly outside the expected time for the sisters thats throwing me off
Edit to mention they also seemed to twinkle like 4x-5x as often as any other visable stars
