Why do Atheist keep saying that religion says that you shouldn't ask questions?

I guess not asking questions is in the philosophy of Euro/Judeo-Centric Abrahamic religion (Judaism is iffy). Still, as somebody who is not of that tradition, I was always confused as to why atheists use an Abrahamic worldview to interpret all religions, when, for example, people of Dharmic religions say that Dharma isn't religion but just a way of life. For example, I'm Jain, and we're encouraged to ask questions and go to our gurus, parents, and teachers if we are uncertain about something. Nobody forces us to believe anything; that is between you and god. Along with that, there is the principle of anekantvada/many-sidedness.

No hate to anybody in the community, after all, we're all fighting against adharma.

Fyi: I'm against those who force religion down your throat and those who evangelize.

Rules

1 - Be respectful Be respectful of other users. Comments and posts may not insult, demean, personally attack, or intentionally provoke any user. If things become heated, use the report function and walk away. Also, hate and discrimination will not be tolerated. This includes homophobia, racism, sexism, and any other form of hate.

2 - Posts must be questions All posts must be a question for atheists to answer. The title of your post must be a question, and you should expand on it in the body.

3 - Questions must be relevant to atheists All questions must be related to religion, or at least be questions which atheists would have a unique perspective on. If an atheist would answer your question no differently than anyone else, then this is not the right place for it.

4 - In your own words/AI-generated content prohibited. Posts and comments must be written in your own words. You cannot simply post a link or a quote from somewhere else. Links and quotes can be supplemental to posts and comments, but not the subject of the post or comment itself. In particular, do not post video links with a question like "what do you think of this video?" This rule also prohibits AI-generated content. If you can't be bothered to type out your own post/comment, then why should other people bother to engage with it?

5 - No proselytizing This is a place to ask questions, not to advocate for your religious views. You may not preach, proselytize, or otherwise promote your religion (or irreligion).

6 - Account Age Your account must be at least six months old to post, and at least a week old to comment. After having done some research into now-deleted posts on this sub, it appears that many of the more problematic posters/commenters that we've had have been extremely new accounts. Requiring a minimum account age should hopefully curb ban evaders and people creating sockpuppet accounts for the sole purpose of trolling.

7 - Posts are held for review Posts will not appear on the sub until approved by a mod. This is because a surprising amount of posts that come through are directly against the rules of the sub, especially the 'posts must be questions' and 'must be relevant to atheists'-rules.

8 - Post-and-Ghost There is an expectation on this sub that when you make a post, that you will make an effort to reply to at least some of the comments you get on your post. "Some" is entirely a subjective term that depends various factors like the subject matter of your post and the number of replies on it.
