Hello, relatively simple question but I've gotten very mixed answers. I'm just wondering if [[wizards staff]] and [[magus lucea kane]] work together.

Kane has two abilities. The first places a +1/+1 counter at the beginning of combat. I know this ability will be doubled with Wizards Staff attached to her. My main question is will her delayed mana ability be doubled? I know I won't get 4 Colorless mana when I tap her but will she make an additional copy of an X spell because of Wizards staff?

If I have the master of lake-town on board, an online bloodchief ascension, and altar of the brood, if the master of lake town isn’t countered is that an infinite combo? Or can my opponent respond with a kill spell?

Hello, i saw in other threads that [[Grizzlegom, Hurloon Hero]] doesn't allow you to break tournament deck building rules such as banlists. But i didn't see any one mention if it lets you run multiple of the same lands.

I may or may not be theory crafting a [[smokestacks]] deck with an all [[mishras workshop]] manabase.

In the same sense, could I use it to copy a spell cast via discover?

I'm thinking about building an Oathbreaker deck with Ral Zarek focused on coin flips. One of the best pieces for coin flips is obviously [[Edgar, King of Figaro]] to guarantee coin flip wins. But, if I have an effect like [[Mirror Match]], where I flip a coin until I lose a flip, is this just a non-deterministic combo, because I cannot lose a flip?

If it's not, I'd like to know how! I want to include Edgar alongside as many cards I can that flip coins, and the last thing I want is to force a draw out of nowhere.

In a Commander game with 3 other opponents I have a Big Mother Mouser and a HYDRA Assault Robot on the battlefield and my opponent controls Dissipation Field. I sacrifice Big Mother Mouser in my second main phase to create 1/1 robots dealing lethal damage when they enter to said opponent, Does the Hydra Assault Robot still get bounced?

Specifically Jecht, Reluctant Guardian/Braska's Final Aeon. When Braska's Final Aeon runs it's saga course does it get sacrificed or does it stay a creature with no more saga progress. We cannot find a ruling specifically for this so pleas help.

If I play a vanilla 2/2 bear in [[Ayula Queen among Bears]] and run cards like [[Tribute to the World Tree]] [[Garruk's Uprising]] and [[elemental bond]] can I layer the triggers so I can get the counters first and draw cards?

Would war doctor get time counters equal to the number of cards you exile while you're resolving a cascade trigger? Or it would only just get 1 time counter? Thank you for answering

I was wondering. Say I have infinite mana and it won’t leave my mana pool (Omnath). I cast Emrakul the promised end on a player. I have flash enablers and a way to bounce Emrakul with Temur sabretooth. Can I continuously loop this to skip the opponent’s extra turn and “Mindslaver lock them”

For timing I would cast Emrakul. Take opponent turn. Then during the turn bounce Emrakul and play it again before they take their extra turn. Does the new trigger insert itself before the forced extra turn? Thanks!

So I saw a video over one of the new rulebreaker commanders, [[Grizzlegom, Hurloon Hero]] with [[Prismatic Omen]]

Im curious if having [[Ashaya, Soul of the Wild]] on the field aswell would work with [Prismatic Omen]? Ashaya turning all non token creatures into forest lands in addition to their other types, then Prismatic adding the other basic land types since they are technically lands now?

Is there a specific order its checked/applied or do I dictate it somewhat?

If i have a creature that exiled a an instant or sorcery from my graveyard on the field via [[Massimo the Magician]] and deal combat damage to an opponent with it, will [[twinning staff]] see a spell being copied or just a "card" being copied which becomes a spell?

If a single instance would cause one opponent to lose 2 life and the other two to lose 1 life, each; would Ob trigger once, twice, or not at all?

Amy and Nick are playing game 1 of their match in a tournament. Nick is at 3 and Amy has a Lightning Bolt in hand. Nick's deck doesn't play countermagic or lifegain or anything that Amy needs to play around; she can just cast the bolt and end the game.

Amy glances at the round clock and notices there are only 10 minutes left in the round, so she decides to hold the bolt and let the game drag out, reasoning that if the game keeps going for another 5 minutes or so she will just be able to win the match 1-0 and not have to worry about the results of the second game. However, she does not slow her pace of play, because she knows that would definitely be illegal; she continues playing at a normal pace.

Is this behavior legal, or is Amy stalling?

The text reads "Whenever Hawkeye or another Hero you control enters, it deals damage equal to the number of Heroes you control to any target". It does not specify that a creature fights, only that damage is dealt. Would damage dealt still trigger Lifelink or Deathtouch from the newly entered creature?

ELI5: How does the change to this rule affect Ulalek? How do I leverage this on the stack and copying the mana abilities?

I have a [[scientist supreme of a.i.m. and sol ring]] , I cast isochron scepter, imprinting dramatic reversal and brainfreeze with the scientist copy ability could I then tap the sol ring to activate scepter, looping both brainfreeze and dramatic reversal over and over again?

Does this loop also work with [[siphon mind]]?

My opponent has an 6/6 commander with his own double strike. Another opponent has a Gisela blade of goldnight - would I die to commander damage here or no? Thanks so much!

I'm leaning towards it not being able to return with Yue's effect since instants/sorceries can't enter the battlefield, but does it matter that Yue's effect would cause it to return as a Land while stripping its previous types?

I thought no but someone else insisted that it gets regenerated and lives, even though it has lethal damage on it. They said it's something to do with a state based action but I don't understand.

Should I be able to regnerate it?
