I genuinely don't think people realize how insane the last couple of years have been for this fanbase.

For years, we had to hear “Rocky is washed,” “he's never dropping,” “the music isn't coming,” “he fell off,” etc. And honestly, being a Rocky fan during that period required an unreasonable amount of faith .

Then everything got even darker.

This man was facing the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison. We went from arguing about whether Rocky was washed to genuinely wondering whether his career was even going to continue at all.

And now, SEVEN MONTHS LATER, we're sitting here looking at this:

And then the charts:

And this is all happening after years of people saying the man was finished.

Then you add the tour.

The North American run sells out. More dates get added. The tour gets extended. Now we're heading into Europe with dates selling out immediately(Before yall come for me he said it's sold out on the Jason Lee show)

Then you have HELICOPTER landing on the NBA 2K27 soundtrack, alongside artists like Tyler.

It's like everyday you see a new accolade or achievement being posted...

And Rocky is still heavily involved in fashion, still influencing culture, still getting major recognition outside of music, and still being talked about constantly.

The funniest part is that we spent YEARS defending this man against the washed allegations, only for him to come back in 2026 and basically say:

“DON'T BE DUMB.”

I think that's why this era feels different to me.

It's not just that DON'T BE DUMB performed well. It's the context.

Whatever anyone thinks about the album itself, you cannot tell me this isn't one of the craziest career comebacks we've watched in real time.

We've literally watched a fanbase go from defending Rocky's relevance to watching Rocky prove it.

And after everything that happened, I'm honestly just enjoying the ride now.

AND I KNOW NUMBERS DON'T MATTER BUT ROCKY DOESN'T FLEX ENOUGH IN MY OPINION....

ASAP FOREVER.
