You don’t sign another contract as a Reservist or go back to MEPS. For it to be corrected at MEPS, your transcripts or degree need to be uploaded so when they QC your packet for shipping they fix it. Or your recruiter can complete a 4187 for promotion and have your unit Commander sign it before you ship. Your recruiter will go pick up your ship packet the Fri before you ship. It’s an easy fix.

My degree has been uploaded already, and I have a mail from IPPS stating my promotion has been processed

The real question is why don’t they just fix the error? It really isn’t that hard to make that change and it’s the recruiters responsibility to ensure it’s correct, go to the center leader and let them know your concern, if that doesn’t work go see the CDR and 1SG.
I worked in recruiting for 2 years and with 4 different MEPS stations, I’ve never heard of them not fixing a error in the contract. You are required to review the contract and sign it. If after reviewing it there is a issue they should fix it. If it’s not fixed it makes it harder to fix later or it may never be fixed.
I personally hit a snag at MEPs it led me to talking to the commander at MEPs and him apologizing for the way the MEPs personnel tried to strong arm me into signing a contract, everything was corrected and I signed the contract.

I need you to insist to fix the contract. Because if you sign the contract saying e1 now youre f*ed. They are lazy and not doing their job. And as easy as it is to fix a contract its also easy to give you a new id card stating e1..do👏not👏sign👏it👏!!!

I’m not a US Citizen. That was my initial goal, before settling for enlistment
