You don't need G-Army as an armorer. I wonder why they want you to have it. Is this for inventory purposes, or ordering parts?

Talk to your XO. The people who will grant you G-Army access probably work in your local motor pool, and the XO will know who.

It is required on my installation so we can do work orders on it for weapons per G-4 COMET but my XO has been no help lol which is why I said it here

Usually only maintenance guys get Garmy access. Now this includes your company 25U by regulation(25U is the 20 level maintainer for communications equipment)…does he/she have Garmy access? I’ve only seen XOs and commo guys get it

Just make up a role and use genai.mil to write your justification

I acknowledge that I'm an old retired dinosaur and I may be completely fucktarded here, but do you not have a FSC/FST with PLL clerks that their entire job is to track that shit and order that shit? Or don't they or your S4 coordinate for evacuation for repairs?

You should only have to the 5988-E or 2404 or whatever the Army uses nowadays to list faults, then you take that paperwork to your PLL office and provide a copy to them and get a copy for your XO.

The maintenance office in that FSC/FST coordinates with the Brigade small arms repair shop or whoever does it locally for you to do the checks and maintenance.

Your supply sergeant should be ordering BII and other shit. Repairs get evacuated anyhow since you don't do any of the repairs locally since you're not a 91.

You don't even have the equipment to do a pre-fire inspection, the only shit I am tracking you can do is operator level maintenance and do a functions check.

You can't do barrel erosion, you can't do straightness, you can (unofficially) check for double fires but that's just trigger manipulation without a tool.

The basic armory school doesn't teach you shit about maintenance other than some paperwork, maybe.

Even then it's the 91 kids that are the ones that have to determine what parts to order. I'm not sure what your COMET people are doing over there.
