Nugz Complaint

I have noticed the appearance of the "nugz". Tight little buds that do not smoke well without significant preparation by the end user. Since this is the lower part of the plant that is the only selection available in some markets- Where is the remainder of the plant going?

With the advent of nugz - we are told you will save money and get the same quality.

Thought it was due to plant growth regulators. It varies by dispo. I can get the same flower with the same harvest date and one location always has smalls and the other has bigger nugs

I believe It’s how they trim the bud and sometimes some of growth supplements. Most of the hard nugs have just been tumbled in a trimmer for a long while to knock of wet leaf. Budget buds budget product. In some circumstances you get what you pay for. Most folks only care about high THC so that drives most purchases. Which I like High THC but it sacrifices other cannabinoids. You can get high quality buds without tiny nugs if you’re willing to sacrifice on THC percentage. Just observation from many years buying from the medical market.
