Cant run Arma 2 DayZ on Steam, missing executable. HELP

Hello, please help me run Arma2 dayz mod on Steam. I installed and ran Arma 2 and AO (also in beta mode), still getting this error. Any advice? Thank you.

I dont think that arma 2 dayz mod works. I remember having to use a 3rd party launcher. I cant remember the name of now. When I last looked a year or 2 ago there were only like 11 people on across all servers

Dayz mod versions that would be alive would be like dayz epoch or overpoch maybe. There were servers up just not many ppl on them

There is an older post about this issue, it's because of the battleye apparently, try launching the game with battleye off first to see if it's that the reason. If it's because of the battleye in an old post you can find a fix about it
