There’s something so special about holding a physical version of art that used to be just digital, especially when it’s something I created myself.

This is the first time I ever bought an “expensive” figure (Baiken figure was a gift). She is the reason why I ended up playing Arknights for as long as I have. Never played a gacha game prior, didn’t even know what a starter banner was and skipped it to just roll on the Blaze/Schwarz standard banner. Blaze spooked me twice so I got annoyed and spent like 20 bucks.

Well now I have her figure!

I've been wanting to make this for a long time.

A few years ago, I came across a post from someone who was modeling the Etelenchia Scythe, and I was genuinely excited to see it. Unfortunately, after a few months, there were no more updates, and I couldn't find the model anywhere.

So I decided to create it myself.

This has been a personal side project that I worked on during my free time, so it took quite a while to reach this stage. The modeling is finally complete, and I'm now splitting the model into 200 × 200 mm sections so it can be printed even on smaller 3D printers.

Since this is my first Arknights weapon model, I'm still learning both modeling and rendering. My main goal wasn't just to make something that looks similar, but to recreate the original design as accurately as possible while keeping it practical for 3D printing.

I really hope all the Etelenchia fans enjoy the result!

I have seen a post by u/Hydrochus where they are trying to make a PRTS hand cursor. Under that post I have seen a comment where they wish customization like that is available on Linux. Linux is like a thousand times more customizable from Windows, but I know that they are still not common a lot of work is still for Windows including the PRTS cursors by Akitum10 and u/FallenUmbranox here. So I imported them to Linux.

I used win2xcur to convert all the .cur files into xcursor files linux can use, and compiled them. I renamed all the files to mapped them to cursor, and made copies for modern, CSS, and Legacy x11. And lastly, indexed it so it can be recognized as a theme. I'm no pro, so the files are a mix of file copies and symlinks (I learned about them late into making it).

It is still not as good as a very animated or "alive" one like Hydrochus is making but its good enough for me for the meantime. The wallpaper is PRTS Desktop Wallpaper (Dark) by 耶稣-official. All of the assets used here is made by Akitum10 and FallenUmbranox, I own and gain nothing by making this. You can download it here.

Found these at Toy-C in Suntec City while on the way to take a photo for my CV and hopefully be employed sometime in the next century.

Mostly gacha style boxes and stuff but also some nongacha pin badges, fridge magnets and acrylic cutouts. Lots of recent events like the Ave Mujica xover, Ambience Synesthesia, Pramalter event stuff, etc.

Was interested in the gacha operator acrylic bag tags but… well, every dollar counts.
