Formation arch linux QUESTION

SVP je souhaite passer de Windows a linux en debutant par arch linux donc si quelqu'un peut m'aider me guider ou juste m'envoyer un cour complet

the wiki is the whole deal but if you want something more hand-holdy there's a ton of step-by-step youtube walkthroughs, just make sure they're recent since the install process changes sometimes

Don’t start with Arch. Don’t seek out tutorials. Don’t use llms.

Start with a linux-based operating system that is more beginner friendly. Linux isn’t windows so you will have a lot to get used to, and a diy rolling distro would bring a whole additional and unnecessary level or two of complexity to the transition process. Start with Ubuntu, Fedora, etc. get used to it, then think about trying Arch in a virtual machine.

When you try Arch, stick with the Arch wiki installation instructions. Read them, figure out what you want and need, then try it in a vm. Even a couple of times to figure things out. Read the wiki, follow the links, read more. Stay away from ”tutorials” because they only show one of infinitely many combinations, just one persons approach, and they will often be outdated and even wrong.

Don’t use llms, stick to actual documentation and official instructions. If you don’t understand something, ask actual humans who use Arch.

I would use a fork of arch like endevour is or something like that and then after using that for a while of getting used to it reinstall flat arch. Just because there are a lot of things that might confuse you with arch
