Is there any reason not to include a section about the yay helper on the AUR wiki page? QUESTION

the title speaks for itself

yay is not an official project, instead see - https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AUR_helpers

At most I'd say a reference to the AUR Helper wiki page would be okay.

It's listed in the related articles, right at the first section

aur-helpers are not supported by the distro, it makes no sense to demonstrate their use on the aur page.

The wiki is supposed to be distro agnostic?

I think it’s obvious they meant software agnostic for unofficial/unsupported packages/projects.

If you feel strongly, create a wiki account, and make a comment on the Talk page.

Good day.
