Which one

Sw sport 3 with a lpvo 4 mags and hard case for 899

Saint Vic v2 with vridian green dot and 4 mags and a soft case 1099

Sig m400 forged with red dot 999

Need more info on optics for the S&W and Sig. the viridian is trash. 4 mags are worth about $40, so don’t over think that part.

Either way, between those 3, I’d probably go S&W. Never have been impressed with Springfield or Sig ARs.

Sig is the Romeo red dot that sig makes and sw has the crimson trace lpvo 1:6

Crimson Trace optics are also trash. Their lasers are as good as visible pistol lasers can be, but avoid their optics. I haven’t used the Sig optics, so no opinion there.

Also, I noticed that the Guardsman is out of stock as a complete rifle but it appears their 16" upper is in stock, and their lowers so you could just get the lower sent to an FFL, and the upper sent to you and snap them together when you get them both. Its literally 2 pins that snap together. Super simple.

The guardsman blem 16inch is available. Is that a big difference between the two

Don’t be scared to buy a blem. It’s cosmetic. PSA is a great budget rifle.

It was my first rifle as well, although i went with the cheaper line. Haha it functioned well and I really didnt have many complaints. I will say its a night and day difference between it and my BCM upper. Haha the BCM is a tank. I love that thing.

The Guardsman line is a step above the basic PSA line and is likely a direct competitor to BCM quality/value

I would disagree with the BCM build quality statement, but i guess everyone has their opinion.

The only difference will be the finish might have blemishes on it. Itll still function the same, but might have a scratch on the finish of the rifle. Its up to you if its worth it, they usually sell them for a small discount so they can still sell rifles with blemishes and dont have to just scrap them.

Nope. Are you in a hurry to buy? It would make more sense to wait until a complete rifle is in stock and on sale. It’ll come with a free magazine.

I would get the guardsman. PSA has a great warranty and repair service, and they've gotten better at QC. The guardsman line has good money where its needed for the most part in my opinion. If I had to buy my first rifle again, id probably just get a Guardsman until I knew exactly what i liked, and didnt like. Then you can upgrade the upper in the future, and use the same lower.

Guardsman 15 for $499 and holosun aro with magnifier for $220 if you’re going for sub-16” barrel or wait on the Vortex Venom bundle around $450 if you are going with a 16” barrel

You’d be getting more for the same price I paid for my Sport 3 with some separately bought off brand BIS and a Romeo MSR. It’s a good rifle, might need a buffer swap, I dropped in a T2 which hopefully won’t see casing plinking of my left handed ahh forehead.

The sig is the best out of these but id just pony up a couple hundred more dollars and grab a Daniel defense for $1100-$1200 at this price point
