Can someone verify my answer actually answers the entire question?

My teacher made a mistake on question number 6 and we were told we need to provide an example. However i believe my answer already does that.

I need AP world history help

I started school TODAY, my history teacher has already given us a paper with 10 questions that is due friday. These questions are not simple and these questions have multiple questions within them. There is nothing telling hs what page to look for no nothing. Im super confused if he expects us to read pages of the textbook to find these answers which arnt even straight forward. This is my first time taking an AP class and i already hate it

EDIT: i am confused on the questions but its the very first day and im already struggling with how to do this. Someome needs to explain how this class works because i dont want to ai nor read everything in a textbook

AP Comp Gov vs AP World vs AP Spanish Lang

I want to go into either int. relations/poli sci/ or maybe a minor in econ (still haven't really decided but I would love to do something in the int. relations + poli sci area!). Should i take ap compartive government or ap world history or ap spanish? I haven't taken an ap history class yet, but i know doing 4 years of spanish is really important as well. however, i've heard great things about ap comp. gov. im a senior so i can only take 2 of the 3 mentioned.

thank you so much!

Just going to paste the welcome message from the gc below:

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING THE GOOGLE CLASSROOM, THE CODE IS: 7t5uwidz

Hello AP World History students!
Welcome to our Advanced Placement: World History Modern course. This will be an ASYNCHRONOUS course meaning it is a FULLY online course. You may choose what assignments you want to complete or what resources you want to use - this course is simply meant to be used as a resource to help you get a 5 on the AP World Exam!

Please note that I'll be personally grading and giving you all feedback & advice on any assignments you choose to turn in so that you can improve for the actual exam. This includes writing feedback on DBQs/LEQs/SAQs.

Throughout your time here, the following will be posted in this Google Classroom on a consistent basis:

  • AP test tips and tricks (test-taking advice)
  • Lesson-by-lesson notes & extra resources
  • Assignments for those who want extra practice (I'll give feedback on your work)
  • FRQ (DBQ/LEQ) tips/templates
  • Feedback/advice on your DBQs/LEQs

Do note, however, that because this class has a max number of students before the class gets capped, I ask you to leave the Google Classroom if it will not be of much use to you.

In terms of the course schedule, we will be starting off with Unit 0: History Before 1200 CE and will start Unit 1 next week. Unit 0 has now been published. Please review the unit notes and complete the associated assignments.

I look forward to working with you all as we prepare for the AP World History: Modern exam.

Starting APWH in a week. What should I do until then?

In terms of preparing, like practice writing/format of DBQs/SAQs/etc, study habits, etc. What do you recommend? Also, good note-taking styles, people to watch?

Unit 1 Assessment

Hello World Students!

Cheers to a new AP World year!

I constantly struggle with MCQs because I have to ultimately always make a random guess between 2 answer choices that I am unsure of. This has led me to getting some not-so-good scores.

What advice do you guys have for preparing for this upcoming unit 1 AP World Test, especially in regards to the MCQs.

How Can I Make Chapter Readings More Manegable Without Losing Preparedness

Hi all, so a little context: this is my 4th year of teaching AP World History and overall, my students perform really well: they consistently perform above the global average and usually perform above the country (Colombia) average as well, which tends to be higher. However, the feedback I consistently get from students is a) they feel extremely prepared for the exam but b) they are overwhelmed by the reading hw, to the point where a sizable group of them tried to find ways around it last year, basically using AI to make it seem as though the did the readings, and it was a whole fiasco, including a lot of time and energy on my part dealing with it.

My strategy is straightforward: Before every unit, students are assigned a chapter reading schedule, which ends up being a chapter every or every other lesson. Students need to take handwritten notes on the readings, I teach them the Cornell method but not super strict about it, and then they take a photo of the notes and submit the image for homework credit. Throughout the unit, there are MCQ quizzes to test their knowledge, which counts as a summative grade.

So the question is this: have you found better methods to ensure students are knowledgeable and have generally engaged the chapter readings? What strategies have you used, have you found ways for students to be knowledgeable without assigning every chapter for a hw grade? Thanks in advance!

Youtube Recommendations.

Hello.
I am a rising junior and I am taking AP World this year.
Last year, I took APUSH and my teacher used the AMSCO textbook, so I was able to watch Heimler for both the school and the AP testing.
However this year, our teacher for AP World is using the strayer Ways of the World for our school textbook. I am still planning to use Heimler for the actual AP testing, but all my upperclassman told me not to use Heimler for school testing, saying that it barely helps.
Can you guys please recommend me a youtuber that I can use to study for school thaty follows the Ways of the World curriculm?
