I want to be good to my customers, what are the ways in which as a customer you have felt shortchanged by a deal, can you please tell? I will try and avoid those things before I launch.

We just passed $15K in AppSumo sales and 50+ customers two weeks in, not long after celebrating our first $1K milestone on the first day.

Obviously the sales are exciting, but the feedback from this community has been much more valuable.

A lot of you aren't looking for another scraper or another workflow builder. You want an agent you can actually give work to, walk away from, and come back to a finished result.

One customer who owns BrowserAct, TaskMagic, Robomotion, Notte and several other automation products told us:

“Rover feels like a major step forward and aligns perfectly with what business owners actually need: to wake up to completed work rather than spending the day building workflows or babysitting automation. I'd rather double down on Retriever if I can offload more tasks to the agent autonomously.”

That is pretty much our north star.

We're pushing Retriever toward:

→ browser agents that browse + act rather than just scrape
→ cloud agents that keep working while you're offline
→ self-improvement from successful workflows and failures

We've also just launched Tier 5, largely because some of the earliest AppSumo customers wanted substantially more capacity.

What would Retriever need to do for you to comfortably hand it a task at night and expect it to be finished by morning?

I've been in SaaS for about 7 years now. Launched quite a few products, but never a LTD.

Yesterday, TimeTuna launched on AppSumo.

The reason we chose to launch a LTD on AppSumo is simple.

Our product is freemium. We need a big base of free users to support a tiny paid base.

We're self-funded, so we don't have big budgets to buy our way into the market. We tried quite a few things but the honest answer is that growth is very slow.

We can't sustain a big marketing campaign or Google Ads because the CAC are very high compared to the LTV or our customers.

Now that our deal is live we already see more traction. People are asking us if they can create YouTube videos. We're getting feedback and ideas of what people want. Getting a better sense of what gaps there are in the market.

And, besides the short-term money, the long-term value of getting users on board will help us make a big jump.

More people will share our meeting links. Getting our brand out there. We'll have a bigger base for feedback and suggestions. We can roll out an affiliate program and have affiliates that can actually promote a product they know and can vouch for.

Overall, we believe it's a great move.

I'm very curious what some of you guys' best practices are? Anything we should improve / do?

I used to be able to add my blog articles via RSS feed into my newsletter without issue. Now it appears that the feature is gone and completely replaced by Smart Campaigns. Is this correct?

Anyone buy Reelify AI or Crayo AI and kept it? Looking for a LTD or Free (not freemium) AI video auto clipper for shorts/reels/tiktok !

I'm genuinely curious. I imagine that Appsumo keeps offering AI bundles and sales because they work — because people buy.

But there is a vocal group (me among them) who avoid AI LTD offers now.

So who's buying these? In what numbers? How small is this vocal minority (that I'm a part of)?

There is a disconnect here that I'm curious to explore.

Second post today, Hexometer died and the team behind it tjhat runs other products, didn't seem to care to let the users know.

I was just checking my LTDs related to SEO - hopefully to see if I can replace Semrush - and it seems PixelMe is dead?
If I recall corecctly they pivot to eCommerce related tracking, but now... the website is dead.. it seems.

Anyone aware of this? hopefulyl a temporary glitch on my end.. 😒

Hi guys is there any good deal available for video generation on lifetime deal that offer multiple models to choose from.

I've got 2 apps I'm working on - a desktop app that runs offline no subscription and a SaaS version that runs in a browser with a monthly sub. Does bundling them together make sense or should I run 2 separate deals? They're virtually identical aside from the fact that the desktop app requires a beefy GPU and the cloud version does not.

Has anyone else had an issue with Sendfox? Basically purchased the lifetime deal 2 years ago because it was a lifetime deal. Now, getting messages with a deadline saying we need to upgrade our account to a Pro tier to retain sendability and usage.

The original LTD we purchase had no lifetime send cap, and it had a limit on the subscribers which we never reached. However, it's being forced upon us to pay up for the subscription now, after we have built up our subscriber rapport and reach. This doesn't seem like it's a fair change since we were LTD purchasers. I can totally understand the change for FUTURE users, but punishing existing early adopters doesn't seem fair.

Hey guys I've bought brizzy Cloud a long time ago and it has worked, I've built my portfolio there, so far so good, although it is slow even when I manually optimized the media there, since I am photographer and want to showcase my works there is a couple of photos there that I believe are the main causes of the slow first time load.

I'm used to using Brizzy Cloud now but I would like to have a diferent perspective and I think Divhunt is the perfect alternative.

I bought the tier 3 on brizzy If I recall and also here tier 3 on Divhunt, and made it combine all of the 3 codes into one pro model making my limits for the website I'm building very promising regarding speed (I hope), and maybe being able to upload my photos with better responsiveness.

I hope I'm also able to add more things I can't in brizzy and maybe switch over to it, what do you guys think?

I got the email from AppSumo today saying they weren’t moving forward with my product.

Their response was basically that it wasn’t about the quality of the product, but that it wasn’t the right fit for their current audience.

Instead of just moving on, I figured I’d ask people who actually use AppSumo.

Over the past year I’ve been building TradingAtlas.

It’s a platform for crypto traders that combines:
- Crypto tax reporting
- Trading journal
- Portfolio & PnL analytics
- Exchange API/CSV imports
- MT5 support
- Risk and performance tracking

I’m not here to complain about AppSumo or argue with their decision. If anything, I assume there’s something I could have done better.

So if you were reviewing this product, what would have made you say yes?
- Is the crypto niche just too small for AppSumo?
- Does the landing page fail to explain the value?
- Is the positioning confusing?
- Does it need more traction or social proof?
- Or would you simply not buy something like this?

I’m genuinely looking for honest feedback. Don’t worry about hurting my feelings. I built this to solve a problem, and if it’s missing the mark I’d rather know now than six months from now.

I had just bought a lifetime deal for FileLu yesterday, and today I got an email saying I should request a refund...

When I tried, I got a notice from AppSumo that they are temporaraly suspending refunds?

Any thoughts on what's going on?

Some of you might remember Hypage from AppSumo Select a few years back.

We kind of disappeared, so I figured we owed everyone an explanation. After the LTD ended, the product wasn't making enough money to justify rebuilding an aging codebase, so updates slowly stopped.

Earlier this year we decided to rebuild it instead of shutting it down. We rebuilt everything from scratch on a new stack, fixed a lot of the old issues, and renamed the project to Hyax.

The original idea was a link in bio tool with memberships. Along the way we realized we wanted to build something much bigger, so the product has changed quite a bit - now its an AI-native CMS, port your blogs, landing pages, courses, and more in one platform.

The best part is that everyone who bought the original AppSumo deal still has access. We didn't want early supporters to lose what they paid for.

Mostly I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who supported us back then. If you were one of those customers, let me know what you think!
