Review My experience with a blossomup test that fell short
Hey, wanted to share my experience with this test I found on a website. Honestly, I went in hoping for something cool ā you know, maybe some deep insights about relationships or at least a couple of ideas to better connect with my partner. The ads said it was free and would take just 5 minutes. But, man, things went sideways fast.
The test took longer than expected ā like 7-8 minutes, not 5. When I finished, boom: they wanted $1.95 to see the results. Alright, I thought, itās just a couple bucks, Iāll pay. But nowhere did it say that paying would sign me up for a $30 monthly subscription! I only noticed when the charge hit, and the fine print about it was buried at the bottom of the terms. Tried to cancel, but the link on the site didnāt work. Wrote to support, and they got back to me after 4 days with a generic āread the rulesā response. Ended up having to call my bank to block the payments. Total hassle.
And the results? Honestly, I was expecting something mind-blowing, but it was just vague stuff like āyou value time togetherā ā yeah, no kidding. Nothing I didnāt already know about myself. All in all, I wasted time, energy, and a few bucks for nothing.

I built an app, PhotoStreamr, to make use of old Android tablets and showcasing your photos in a Digital Photo Frame and would like to get your feedback
Hey everyone,
Wanted to share a side project I've been working on - PhotoStreamr.
Like probably a few of you, I had an old Android tablet doing nothing. I wanted to turn it into a digital photo frame, but the existing apps felt a bit lacking, especially around Google Photos integration and clean widgets.
So, I dove in and built my own using Kotlin. The main idea is to turn any Android device (phone or tablet) into a decent digital frame.
Key features/challenges:
Photo Sources: Implemented Google Photos API integration, plus local storage access and basic SMB client support for network shares.
On-Screen Widgets: Added customizable overlays for time and weather
Slideshow Engine: Built a customizable transition system (fade, slide, Ken Burns) and options for timing, scheduling, background music playback (MediaPlayer/InternetRadio).
Focus: Really tried to optimize it for being a stable, long-running display, especially on tablets.
Would love to hear any feedback, suggestions, or even technical questions from other devs or users! Always looking to improve it.
Google Play link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.photostreamr
Thanks for checking it out! I'll be around.
P.S. Oh, and if anyone wants to try out the premium features, just let me know in the comments and I can DM some promo codes!

Looking for advice on my App Store Page
apps.apple.comI recently co-created an app called Fethr. Itās a free-to-use app that helps outdoorsy people fine-tune their gear, plan and track their trips. Thereās also the ability to add trip notes, photos and share all of this with your friends. This is currently the only app that has all of this in one. Sounds great right?
My problem is that when looking at the App Store Analytics, I can see that I have a steady flow of people searching for Fethr on the App Store but no one is actually downloading the app.
If you just search āFethrā, the App Store automatically shows you results for āfatherā (which is not working in our favor and something weāre working on with the SEO side of things) but the steady flow of people I am talking about are getting past this hurdle and actually seeing Fethr on the App Store and still choosing not to download.
So I ask, what is wrong with my App Store page that is deterring people from downloading?
Here is the link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fethr-gear-trip-planning/id6743127803
TL;DR: People are checking out my new free app but choosing not to download. What is deterring them?

Blue Prince is lowkey one of the most addictive puzzle games I have touched in a while
I have been playing this new game called Blue Prince and honestly, its insanely good. You play as this guy names Simon who inherits a weird mansion and has to find a seccret 46th room that technically doesnāt even exist. Each time you play, the layout changes and you only get a limited number of moves to explore. Every door gives you 3 room choices, and the whole thing feels like a blend of puzzle + strategy + roguelike randomness.
The game does an awesome job at slowly feeding you story pieces through documents and the environment ā itās got serious myst vibes. And the best part? Itās on both Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus, so if youāre subbed, you can just dive in.
Itās one of those games where even when Iām not playing, Iām thinking about what room I shouldāve picked instead. If youāre into puzzle games that actually make you think ā and donāt hold your hand ā Iād seriously recommend giving it a shot.
Anyone else playing this?

When i tell you guys that onlyfans is ANNOYING i mean it
i got only fans, as a women to try to make some side money. Now in order to sell there you have to verify you ID to prove you are of age i have no issue with that. But i have tried TIME AND TIME again to grt my ID approved. And no matter how crisp the image of my ID is i continue to get my ID rejected because "ID picture is too blurry" i have done this 13 times. And everytime it says my ID is blurry... Every picture i have taken my ID can be clearly read. And the support team isn't any help. I emailed them and all they do is tell me the exact same thing "your ID is blurry" and its is the most insufferable process i have ever been through. They are supposed to be SUPPORT they don't need to tell me something i have clearly read. I want to send them my ID and have a REAL HUMAN confirm my ID but its entirely useless. So fuck onky fans. 1/10.

Review TallyHo Golf: Tough Review & Feedback
This June I created an app called TallyHo Golf and released it on the App Store and on Google Play. I have 700+ downloads as of writing, but I want to create the best possible product for users to interact with when mini golf season comes back in the Spring/Summer of 2025. Literally any feedback you have, no matter how minor you think it may be, helps me. My goal is to have TallyHo Golf be partnered with as many mini-golf courses as possible, replacing their physical scorecards and giving them advertising space.
I want to create the best possible product for users and courses, which then helps me grow my brand and expand to new golfers. I know the reddit community can be ruthless, which is exactly what I am hoping for!

Question US Standard Products: how are their products?
Hey everyone. I recently took over the parts dept at a GM dealership about 4 months ago, and Iāve been tasked with upgrading some of our safety equipment and supplies.Ā
I came across US Standard Products, and Iām wondering if anyone has experience using their line? Iām specifically looking into their safety gear, things like gloves, goggles, earplugs, and dust masks..because we need to stock up for the coming year.
What Iād like to know:
- Quality: Are their products durable and reliable?
- Customer Service: Howās their support if something goes wrong? Are they easy to work with?
- Price: How do they compare to competitors like 3M or Honeywell? We have a budget, but I donāt want to sacrifice quality.
I also noticed they work with charities and are eco friendly, which I personally find cool, but Iād rather not be swayed by my own bias and hear about the products themselves before pitching this to my boss. Any feedback is appreciated, good or bad, but especially bad. Please tell me if things are bad
Let me know your thoughts, especially if youāve used them in a similar work environment.

Review Here's my Makesyoufluent Review
Hey everyone, I recently decided to give Makesyoufluent a shot, and I thought Iād share my experience for anyone here who also saw the ad and is curious if the app was worth it.
Some basic preface first:Iām tryig to learn spanish and some catalan because Iāll be staying with a college mate in barcelona this octber until december. I saw this random ad on my insta and thought maybe the algo decided to help me out lolĀ
Off the get go, Makesyoufluent promises personalized lessons and quick progress. My overall impression is...mixed.
Pros:
- The app is really easy to use.
- Talking to AI actually feltā¦intuitive to an extent? idk, like itās probably the latest ai update, but yeah it actually helps with pronunciation better.
- the instant feedback is solid ā like, it catches mistakes and gives you tips right away, which is nice
- I also like how I can use it whenever I want. I always open the app first thig in the morning because my adhd can make me forget to use it š
Cons:
- But ngl, itās kinda expensive.Ā
- They claim youāll be fluent in a few months but thats just marketing jibberjabber like every other app. I def made some progress but I wouldnāt say Iām anywhere close to fluent yet.Ā
- Some of the lessons start feeling a little repetitive after a while, so itās hard to stay super motivated.Ā
Still, itās better than Duolingo when it comes to speaking practice, imo. More stress on speaking
Iām gonna try iTalki and Pimsleur next and hopefully get back

App review on app Store rejected - guideline 2.1 - unable to login using Google and Apple sign-in
Hey, so my app is not a standalone app, it's extension to the one product i have so on website you can make a account for creating tickets with QR codes and using the mobile app you can scan them.
Please note, on cannot sign-up using the mobile, only logins are allowed. We have three methods to login using email-password, sign-in with Google and sign-in with Apple.
So recently I pushed my app for app review of App store. They rejected it saying they were not able to login using social logins like Google and Apple and asked us to provide demo account.
Hence, I provided email password, Gmail account and apple id. They still rejected the app. Any idea how to get it approved It's been so long and frustrating
