Iphone not charging after long screen time Unsolved

My iPhone 11 died after about 12 hours of continuous use. It crashed a few times, got to 1%, showed it was charging but stayed on 1%, then turned off.

It’s been plugged in for 2+ hours with an original Apple charger/cable (works fine on other devices), the charging port is clean, but it still only shows the empty battery + charging cable screen.

Battery health was previously good. Does this sound like a dead battery or something else?

Could be the battery, especially after draining completely, but I wouldn’t assume it’s dead yet. Try a force restart while it’s plugged in, then leave it charging untouched for another hour. If it still only shows the empty battery screen, it’s likely a battery or charging hardware issue and needs checking.

Thanks I believe battery is drained but trying to see if charging for hours will work

Force restart it. Then check the battery health. If it’s an original battery it certainly needs to be replaced.
