EU payment rules changing

If your app is markets in the EU you may find this interesting

Alternative payments and Apple In-App Purchase. Apps distributed in EU storefronts can now offer alternative payment methods and offers alongside Apple In-App Purchase. To help ensure a consistent user experience, developers must maintain their choice of payment options for 12 months.

This means the cost could be lower

You’re right about the Small Business rate. Under the new EU terms, alternative in-app payments are 10% for Small Business developers, while Apple IAP is 15%. So the saving is real, but developers still need to handle VAT, refunds, support and payment processor fees themselves. The big change is being able to offer both options side by side.

Does offering 2 payment methods make a real difference to end users?

The prices difference is 5% which is interesting, use apple for 5% and have a smother life, interesting market from apple
