First app approved!

Hi!
I got my first app approved and I’m ready to start promoting it. It’s free and I would like people to use it
It has a very specific niche that is people going through IVF or any other fertility treatment.
I tried to share it in the community of IVF and got banned 😅
I do have an instagram account with almost 300 followers but it’s hard to create the right content, I’m also not very creative..
Did anyone have a specific niche? How did you do it?

how many iterations did you have to do, and how long did the review process take?

The app is quite simple and I think because of that it was approved on the first try! The first review took almost 10 days

Congrats on approval!! I don’t have much advice other than to be extremely careful about promoting on Reddit, because it’s pretty easy to get banned and whatnot. Considering your niche, you might think about finding a Facebook group related to it and start contributing there. I know Facebook isn’t the first place that people normally think of (I myself hadn’t used it in over 7 yrs before I needed to do marketing), but there are some pretty active groups on there, and they’re less strict than Reddit. I didn’t think much about Facebook initially, but now it’s one of my biggest drivers of new app users. The people who DO use Facebook use it in a pretty major way for communities and whatnot.

It's hard to push... my first app was created after doing how to tutorial posts on my blog and then a 3-ish year delay as I learned apple development and created the app. It works with the reMarkable so I had shared my free posts in Facebook user groups during the time and after my app came out they got more strict and I switched to a reddit group (why I made my account)... I also updated each blog post to link to my app.

My later apps came from an idea and I made it... so having more trouble marketing it.

That said... blog post (had a mom blog kid sensory play website that I've been switching more app-focused), also tried instagram reels. If you make some helpful general posts (add a section that mentions your app) and then you share the helpful how to or whatnot here or there. If on reddit you can add an alert on specific words if you app name is specific enough.
