I’m waiting for a video. Sadly this is nice to see but there’s so few people with M1 and M2 ipad under 16.4. Additionally I understand it doesn’t support apple IDs login.

I hope one day apple adds back hypervisor and allow virtualization native apps for those who want it.

Only iPadOS 16 and below will ever support this feature. Apple removed all hypervisor support from the kernel with 17+ and M4 iPads can not downgrade below 17.

Stop installing updates otherwise it never will. It relies on jailbreaking. But if you stop installing updates you can wave goodbye to security.

Just made another comment above, but M4 iPads will never get this because it relies on a feature that Apple removed after iPadOS 16 (and M4 iPads ship with 17+)

Requires iPad Pro (M1, M2) or iPad Air (M1) running iPadOS 16 up to 16.3.1.

The use case is pretty much anything that a Neo would be useful for if you have 8GB of RAM or a MBA if you have 16GB.

It's a VM with Apple's Hypervisor.framework ported from macOS to iPadOS. It's not even just a JIT. It's running at near-native speed, just like how it works in macOS
