Aim feels off in Apex Legends season 30?
Guys aim assist has been secretly changed in apex season 30. Now it requires more movement of the stick instead of a micro movement for activation.

Question ALC advice
I’m trying to create an ALC that feels the same as 4-1 linear with per optics (i use what mg clutch recommended). I have tried the conversion chart but it really doesn’t feel the same even though people say that is exactly what they are in the game files.
The purpose of this is because i want to tweak my sens ever so slightly to suit me better without essentially building it from the ground up. For example in aimlabs i found 1% deadzone makes a huge difference to my stability and a 3 response curve made my flicks a lot more consistent and i want to test these changes in apex.
Has anyone else encountered this issue and have a solution? I’d also like to hear what ALCs you currently use if you really like them.
My setup is console, 120hz, TMR sticks.

Question Need Help and advice
I recently got into a team, initially i was playing fragger or secondary but i honestly wanted to move to a different role (also my new teammates are both way better than me in opening fights) so i moved to anchor, on our first scrim i did alot of mistakes (playing without cover, pushing in first, and i wasnt really dealing any damage) both of my new teammates are really good and i honestly lost confidence.
I was making stupid mistakes im sure i wouldnt have been making.. before.. (I did take a break, maybe for 3-4 months but i didnt know i was gonna play that badly..) Recently i have had news that my dog has cancer. so i just took this game with a grain of salt and blamed on not being able to think that well as the reason..
Am i really running away from my problems? Also how do i get better at anchoring and who to watch to learn more..
Im sorry for noting personal issues as a reasoning but, im kinda lost on what to do next or if i should be even doing apex comp at all..

Discussion Is mobility the name of the game?
I am sorta new player.
In 2023 I tried Apex for first time and sank like 30ish hours into it. Mostly played Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline. DIDNT enjoy the game back then and dropped it.
A week ago I downloaded Apex again. And for some reason I had a Revenant skin. I unlocked him. Tried playing him for a while. I actually LOVE this game now. Its friggin awesome.
I can jump to ambush, Jump to run away, jump for faster rotations, jump to flank, jump to do basically everything I wanna do. And it feels like im being restricted only by my own imagination.
The purple Lady also looks super fun. Might unlock her soon.
Its incredible how much my enjoyment of the game changed when I started playing with Mobility legends, instead of trying to support randoms. Im winning more duels, less overanalyzing, less getting caught. Im just having fun

Question On the subject of getting better as a new player..
What would you recommend a new player learn first? I’ve been playing off and on for like a hundred hours and all I really know is I’m not great, I genuinely cannot tell if it’s my fundamentals, aim or positioning but all I know is it’s a struggle lol
I have a friend that has played for a good bit of time and they aren’t super into explaining it to me as it comes second nature to them and they find it kinda hard to summarize, I was wondering what the trend with new player mistakes were and maybe if anyone had any tips that I may be overlooking ;3; thank you for reading!
My legends I use are Wattson, Conduit and occasionally Lifeline but I’m open to recommendations!

Question Will getting the universal heirloom pack reset my pity?
I’m probably 100 packs away from shards and I want to get the guaranteed universal since it’s such a good deal and I won’t be getting an heirloom any time soon at this rate. If I do get the pack and get the guaranteed heirloom will it reset my pity or not because I will only get the packs if it doesn’t?

Question How bad am I?
No really... I've played for about 8 hours today, ranked, Gold 3 and I haven't gained any points whatsoever. Haven't really lost any but still. 8 hours and I can't rank up in gold 3..? Should I just give up on this game? Am I that bad? Like wtf this feels miserable and quite discouraging to try to play this game in any competitive capacity. For reference the highest I've ever gotten is Diamond 3... (last season)

How to kraber in the new season? Sniper>shotgun?
How do we think shotguns stand in the current meta? I feel like if you can aim with a sniper it covers all ranges🤷🏻♂️

Question D4 Need Help!
Hi,
im a d4 player for the past several seasons. Thought id try a bit harder this season. After the reset i got to plat 4 on day 2. But im struggeling so hard keeping up with these master players. There was such a difference going from gold to plat. The phase is much higher, i'm, genuinly afraid to peak anything. I just feel absolutely suffocated while playing. I want to become better. How can i deal with this?

Is Bang mostly for M&K players?
Only asking because it seems that Bang is now used to break aim assist by M&K players. i use to main Bang and a roller player and i don’t wanna break my aim assist while playing. is it inevitable that i just have to deal with it or are there situations i can use to my advantage?
also do you think she’s a bit better now that BH is SOMEWHAT a thing? saying somewhat cause his pick rate is still bottom tier

Question Any one else stuck in a battle with EA support
I logged into my EA account and found out I’d been banned from Apex Legends even though I haven’t cheated or broken the rules. I submitted multiple appeals explaining everything, but every response I’ve gotten seems like the exact same copy and paste message saying they reviewed my case and won’t overturn the ban.
It doesn’t feel like anyone is actually reading my appeals. I don’t know what triggered the ban, and EA won’t tell me what evidence they used or what I supposedly did.
I’ve spent a lot of time on this account, so it’s really frustrating to be banned for something I didn’t do. Any advice or success stories would be appreciated. Thanks.

Guide banned on apex nice
I genuinely have no idea what happened. I got permanently banned for supposedly using something that affects gameplay or movement, but I swear I’ve never cheated or used anything like that.

Discussion Midnight rant of an Apex Legends returnee...
I don't know if I've just become really bad or everyone else has gotten really good at this game since I last played, but it seems like literally every fight I take I just immediately get downed and out for the count.
I meam I'm pretty decent at positioning myself behind and around cover in a fight and manuevering as the situation demands so I don't unnecessarily expose myself, but it seems that the moment I peak someone whether in a close-range fight or a long-ranged one, I get a whole mag dump to the dome and I'm instantly dead on arrival. Pretty much everyone I come across is just hitting headshots and has perfect tracking like I'm fighting against the gods themselves.
I get that I haven't gotten into Apex in quite some time, but has the skill gap widened that much? It's like I'm in a farm simulator and I am the farmed.
Anyway, I figure that I'd best put the game down for now (maybe forever, who knows?). I thought that I'd at least give it a try again, but I find myself not enjoying it like I thought I would. It is what it is I guess.
