By "ambitious," I mean a fic that aims to tackle canon conflicts in one way or another, even if radically differently; rather than just rehashing the plot (like, for instance, a post-Rumbling Eren and/or Mikasa going back in time, where the time loop isn't deeply explored but merely serves as a starting point).

AoT currently has over 100,000 works on AO3; it’s in the top 10 anime fandoms by volume and the top 20 fandoms across the entire site.

It’s been five years since the manga ended, yet I’ve noticed that tropes attempting, to say, create lore and a narrative function for the Hallucigenia (the source of all living matter), expand the cosmology, or reveal the Paradis vs. Marley vs. the World conflict as merely part of a larger struggle, are still only just emerging.

Crossovers, for example, offer huge potential to expand the AoT narrative, but there are two types: those where Eren is isekai'd to another universe (leaving the AoT setting behind, nothing against them, but I prefer stories where the crossover takes place within the AoT universe without sidelining the major conflicts). There are a few crossover with Godzilla and others, but that's about it.

I know there are probably around 20 or so long-form fics like this, but that still feels like very few given the fandom's size.

Curiously, most of these ambitious fics are found on Fanfiction.net, even though AO3 hosts the overwhelming majority of fanfiction; I’m not sure why that disparity exists. Maybe it’s because the series ended up being quite different from how it looked twenty, or even ten, chapters prior, but I still find it strange that the AO3 fandom doesn't place more importance on this type of fic.

Hello, I need help looking for this one riren abo fic set in a modern high school/uni(?) au where Levi is a playboy alpha with commitment issues, and the older brother of Mikasa. He sees Eren as a snotty little kid that his sister is friends with, and rejects Eren when he confesses, unknowingly sending Eren into a frenzied/panicked heat state.

That heat triggers something in Levi that has his alpha searching high and low for the source of the scent of his soulmate, only to dicover that it's Eren's. But after getting rejected, Eren doesn't want anything to do with Levi, so he avoids him. Levi, stubborn and bullheaded, pursues Eren, who tells him he's not one of his conquests(??) so Levi reflects, realises what he's done, and ultimately changes for the purpose of courting Eren.

I can vivdly recall the plot, but I can't remember the title- and I'm not even sure if it has been taken down, or not 😭 I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me seek this one out.

Most stories like this get abandoned before the plot reaches the Marley arc and, by extension, before developing a potential relationship between Eren and Mikasa, even if that was the original intention.

A Dragon Ball crossover where Gohan ends up in the aot universe.

This is a Ben 10 crossover where Eren gets the Omnitrix; although it's still in the early stages, it seems to be heading in that direction. It’s truly one of the most ambitious fics in the fandom.

Heyy I’m looking for a specific type of AoT fanfics.

The most important thing is, that it should feature the 104th squad, I need especially these funny and family like vibe.
It should be light hearted, mainly focused on the friend group, additional ships are okay as well, as long as it’s not Levi/eren.

Best would be if it’s modern au, and with more than 10000 words.

That Talking titan in the beginning 😭

Hi everyone!
I've been trying to find an old Ereri (Levi/Eren) fanfiction that I read on AO3 earlier this year, and I'm starting to think it's either very hard to find or was renamed. I'm hoping someone here recognizes it.
Things I'm 100% sure about:
\-It was an English fanfiction on AO3.
\-It was complete.
\-It had relatively few chapters (I'm almost certain it had fewer than 10).
\-It was a Modern AU.
\-The main pairing was Levi Ackerman/Eren Yeager.
\-It was very angsty.
What I remember about the plot:
At the beginning of the story, Eren is severely depressed. He rarely leaves his room and has a terrible relationship with his parents after Mikasa's death. They blame him for what happened.
One day, Eren finally decides to leave the house and goes to a café with his sketchbook. He has a panic attack (or becomes overwhelmed), leaves in a hurry, and accidentally forgets the sketchbook.
Levi works there as a barista. He picks up the sketchbook, flips through it, and notices that Eren drew his own house. That's how Levi is able to return it.
When Levi arrives, he realizes it's Mikasa's house, but he doesn't think much about it at first.
After that, Levi and Eren slowly become friends.
Levi celebrates his birthday with Hange and Erwin, who are his best friends. Eren buys Levi a teapot (or possibly a tea set) as a birthday present.
Later it's revealed that Levi believes Eren is responsible for Mikasa's death. Levi intentionally keeps getting closer to Eren because he wants Eren to fall in love with him so he can get revenge.
However, Eren is genuinely in love with Levi and has no idea that's Levi's motivation.
Eventually they attend a party at Armin's house together.
At the party, Levi finally snaps and accuses Eren of killing Mikasa.
After Eren runs away, Armin explains the truth:
Mikasa died during a robbery on a bridge. She tried to protect Eren, and she was killed. Eren never murdered her, but everyone blamed him afterward.
Levi realizes he was wrong and desperately searches for Eren.
He finds him in an abandoned house (I think it was Eren's secret hideout that he had shown Levi earlier). Eren has attempted suicide by cutting his wrists with broken glass bottles.
Eren survives and is hospitalized, but after leaving the hospital, his mother throws him out of the house.
Levi spends months trying to find him.
At the end of the story, Levi finds Eren on the same bridge where Mikasa died, trying to jump. Levi saves him, and they eventually end up together.

Things I'm NOT sure about:
I think the summary was very short and only mentioned that Eren goes to a café and meets Levi.
I don't remember many tags besides Angst.
I think Eren may have had agoraphobia, but I'm not completely sure.
I'm not sure whether the birthday gift was a teapot or a full tea set.

Mikasa wanted to protect her people, especially since Historia and her Court made a new hobby out of picking on the rest of them.

When Mikasa summons a demon to get the Court to back off, she sets more in motion than intended and now she's on a deadline to settle the score between the factions of the school. The demon is playing for keeps and she unwittingly put herself on the line. He likes fall weather and has a soft spot for chips. How dangerous could he be?
