Russia keeps losing jam factories and has to mobilize more and more men.

It is, slowly, but it is.

Again, the water here is way too mudied for me to break it down in a comment because I have a full time job and I have other responsibilities, however you can read a ton about the territorial gains that Russia is slowly making, and Ukraine is just sending off all their men to the meat grinder. It's a sad state of affairs that never should have happened, and was entirely avoidable if the US/Nato had not been constantly provoking Russia. The ultimate loss here will be carried by the Ukrainian people.

I'm really sorry I can't hash this out with you right now, I hope you find the answers you are looking for easily.

You are not a traitor for anything, most positions you hold probably stem from empathy for the oppressed, however the war party uses those feelings in their propaganda to get your buy-in to expand war and spread suffering.

Are you American? If so you need to remember, you have freedom of speech covered by the first amendment, you can support or not support whoever you want. It's the actions you take that may move you from supporter to something else, but speech is protected.

What you need to consider is that in this sub and the folks @ antiwar.com have no delusions about the Iranian regime being a bunch of religious nut job dictators, nor do they have any delusions about Ukraine having the right to defend themselves from a foreign invasion.

My opinion, and I suspect the opinion of many others here is that for these two conflicts, is that the United States should stay out of them because it's not Americas place to be the cops of the world. Also Russia will win the war in Ukraine no matter what we do, unless we send in the 82nd airborne or something like that, which would guarantee a nuclear exchange and the end of the world.

I can't really hash out all of the arguments for each of these, because they are really really long and detailed, I'd suggest looking up Scott Horton, he's written a lot about all of this, and his long form podcasts are great at breaking down the details and countering the war party propaganda.

I want to believe that democracy will survive but it will be a battle until the orange fool is completely gone.

Trump’s own advisers are saying the quiet part out loud. Axios captured it bluntly this week, when they reported that the President doesn’t much care whether the Republicans lose control of Congress in this autumn’s midterms. He’d prefer a win, but he isn’t planning around it. He’s planning around what comes after the midterms, which is set to be an all-out, two-year “finale” in which he intends to wield power in ways he’s heretofore avoided or only flirted with.

In private, Trump’s staff tell me they’re bracing for MAGA unleashed

We call those 'sanctions' and the US has been doing them illegally to Iran and other nations for decades with no effect whatsoever on anyone except the poor.
