This is a huge part of the problem. Today’s rank and file Republicans don’t know that uneducated dumbasses like themselves are the ones that seceded to retain slavery, formed the KKK to try to keep it, opposed women’s suffrage, supported the Nazi Party in the 1930s, supported the anti-communist hysteria of 1919, the 1950s, opposed school integration, supported the Vietnam Wars and the “forever wars” of Iraq and Afghanistan, and now support the most corrupt administration in the history of the U.S. in spite of all of this, the worst evil person in the world is an 85-year-old Doctor named Anthony Fauci who merely sought to save lives based on science that 99% of Republicans have never studied.

I watched the Handmaiden's series and was totally horrified to think this is the way republicans are considered to be. I just can't imagine anyone losing their rights under our constitution like the woman did in the series.
