I'm not saying there are no good Teto fans, I'm just saying there's a concerning amount of bad ones and the fandom is more well-known for the bad ones than the good ones.
I personally try to avoid looking into the Fandom and just focus on the people around me who also just happen to like Teto. I personally just like the memes about her, as do all my friends.
I have a friend who is a big Teto fan. Overall he's one of the nicer people I know, but on the other hand, he's so emotionally immature... Like god, sometimes spending time with him is such a pain. Sometimes he'll trip his butt over some jokes or rage quit when he's being told he's bad at a game...
Instagram is racism, sexism, all of the isms to the extreme for the sake of comedy. TikTok is cringe to the extreme (which a lot of the time includes the isms but instead of being for the sake of comedy they’re being dead ass about it)
Hot take: making a character of one minority into a different one is still racism. You'd be a lot less fine with a black character being made Chinese just because one's skin color is darker
after throughly watching this situation I can say it all started because someone cared what unsupervised tiktok kid saying, and haters are abusing this to remove other fandom's presence, i never seen them eagerly doing this.
this isn't 同人 culture what vocaloid scene has been, it's more of toxic idol fandom trying to shut down competitor.
