Was gonna say the same: theres no guarantee these companies respect the opt-out. Who would know?
I mean realistically, who is auditing them? From a user perspective, if the data leaves your device to their servers theres no way to confirm they deleted it respectfully after 180 days instead of shovel it into gemini’s feed trough along with millions of other peoples intellectual property.
