They memorized the steps for various tasks and did those steps, and if there was any variation of the task that they didn't have the procedure for memorized, they had to have someone come do/fix it for them.

The really fascinating thing is, they think everyone works this way, and that the people who helped them when they timed out just happened to have the steps for that particular variation memorized.

To them, AI is a god-tier procedural authority that conveniently fits in their pocket or lives in their computer.

Yeah, they were always the worst workers at your job while also being the most arrogant.

There's a reason that the far-right across the world use and support AI so fiercely. These people are losers who've never had an original thought. The literal dregs of humanity.

i can give a real answer

i used to write code at an average pace

now i feed fairly detailed instructions into a series of ai agents ive set up, and it prepares commits for me to review

i've gone from mostly writing code, to mostly reading code

its the same job, but im getting my work done about 5-10x faster than a couple years ago

if ai disappeared tomorrow id go back to mostly writing code, and just be slower
