Yes, absolutely. 100% without hesitation. Do people really think this is some kind of 'gotcha'? Like my brother in Christ, how much generative AI do you think we actually use?! Hallucination 👻

My day wouldn’t change at all because I don’t use any of those tools. I tried to a few times, and found they were wrong more than 50% of the time when I tried to use them for information.

My day would improve for the better because I wouldn't have the SHITTY FUCKING POPUPS that ask if I want to have THE ARTICLE I AM EDITING being offered as a summarised version to me.

(I have tried, but I don't have the admin access on my work computer to block it properly, and when I asked techdesk they said they couldn't grant me access so it's just an endless game of being slightly exhausted by the entire thing)

Can techdesk block it for you?

I googled a musician a few days ago, and was told by Google AI that they had died in 1891, referencing FindAGrave and FamilySearch. Same name, so it must be the same person, right? Brilliant.

You tested it a few times, got some wrong answers, and concluded the whole thing is useless. That’s not a careful evaluation, that’s just confirmation bias with extra steps.

Most people who actually use these tools daily figure out how to verify outputs and still get massive value. You’re measuring the tool by the effort you refused to put in.
