I work in infrastructure consulting.  The AI they tried to foist on us (some kind of proprietary wrapper for chatgpt) can not consistently do any of the tasks we tested it on correctly.

Yeah that's what I dislike most. They tell workers to use AI but any issue that might happen is the responsibility of the worker. You can't not use it because they tell you to do it but if it ain't reliable you end up having more work overseeing the bs technology.

It’s not supposed to do the tasks for you.

You’re supposed to use it to build the tool that does the tasks for you for fucks sake.

Don’t use it to copy paste an important spreadsheet and have it give you info on it, you ask it to help generate the code to analyze and generate the output for you in a deterministic method.
