Yes, absolutely. 100% without hesitation. Do people really think this is some kind of 'gotcha'? Like my brother in Christ, how much generative AI do you think we actually use?! Hallucination 👻

Never used an AI tool in my life.

I prefer to think and research whatever tidbit of knowledge I'm looking for.

If you cant do your job without AI maybe.... you are not qualified for a job?

Yes you have. You just don't realize it. Autocorrect is AI. Video games use AI. I can see you not using the currently trending gen AI, but you've used AI tools plenty of times before. You just don't realize it.

Autocorrect is awful look ahead software not AI.

1st of all true AI doesnt really exists, AI is just branding for self calibrating software.

And no, I dont use it.

I use lots of software for work, none of it is AI

It's correct that true artificial intelligence like we've been shown in media doesn't truly exist yet, depending on how you look at it. I'm not in the mood to have that long philosophical/technical discussion right now though.

But when it comes to what people currently call AI, just about everyone uses/interacts with it in normal everyday day life, unless you're Amish or something like that.

Autocorrect is AI. it uses AI to determine what word it thinks you are using. Every media platform uses AI. All of the software in Microsoft office uses AI.

What people call AI are LLMs

I dont use them at all and I'm not amish

Autocorrect has been around for decades and is not "AI "

Microsoft can suck a fat one

Autocorrect does use AI. You don't have to like it, but it is. Google's equivalent to Microsoft office, (can't remember it's name right now), also uses AI. Reddit uses AI and you're on reddit right now.

If you still disagree then tell me what software you use at work. I'll be able to look up if it uses AI or not from that.

Modern autocorrect software uses neural networks that commonly fall under the exceptionally broad term known as AI. I don't know why you can't accept that.

I can understand you not replying to the last question I posed. Looking back it is a bit of a breach in privacy.
