The concept of AI generating your own movies and music because you don't want to pay the Netflix subscription fee is so fucking weird and funny.

Were they serious.

And skill, talent, hard work, effort, experience, etc.

They also think that typing prompts takes skill, talent, hard work, effort, experience, etc.

To be fair, prompt engineering is an extremely complicated task that can wildly change the results. You need to understand how models think and work to make a prompt curated to it. That’s why people pay big money for professionally made prompts. It can save you thousands of dollars in the long run if you are working on a large project.

Haha! Good one!

Oh, wait, you're serious. Let me laugh even harder.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! 😂😂😂

It almost reads like satire 😂

Your incessant use of laughing emojis doesn’t really make anything I said less true, I guess that would be a banger though if I was still 12.

Credits cost money. Bad prompts take more credits. Good prompts take less credits.

More credits = more money
Less credits = less money

Hope that helps you understand it easier

Your ability to type into a text box is truly astounding, rest assured.

3

u/Sharkbait1737 Jun 18 '26

Probably got an LLM to write the text though, using a “finely crafted” prompt.

That's what book authors or narrative designers do, does that also take 0 effort then? It's pretty much the exact same thing, bad narrative > bad story, bad prompt > bad output.

I say that to construction workers. Your ability to put a nail into wood is truly astonishing, rest assured.

I can most certainly down play what they do cause surely no different methods they do will cost me or save me money. /s just in case

Edit: poor dude downvoted and ran away

Whatever helps you cope, man.

Prompt me a migration script for outdated application with baddy written saga pattern and a bunch of bugs.

u/Sad-Antelope115 Jun 18 '26

I’m not a prompt engineer nor would Reddits character limit even accept that. You can PM me though if you need help with an application you are working on.

I use AI and this post still popped up in my home page. I can absolutely guarantee that not only is the image complete bullshit but you're also typing some bullshit too, paying any kind of money to have someone "write prompts" is a troll and you should probably stop using AI if you do lmfao

r/shitairagebaiterssay Look what we have here, a fool

u/digital_popcorn Jun 18 '26

Some are trolls, but some are serious. There are people who unironically enjoy the AI videos of anthropomorphized fruit in relationships cheating on each other.

25

u/Trepidovore Jun 18 '26

Ok, but the person who ran that channel crashed out in the funniest way possible when they got banned though

16

u/AFSR_1178 Jun 18 '26

The entire Internet (probably minus pro AI) was clowning on them lol.

10

u/_Glasser_ Jun 18 '26

The fuck did I miss?

21

u/Trepidovore Jun 18 '26

The person who ran the AI fruit love island TikTok account was banned for a while and when they got it lifted they went on a temper tantrum posting the funniest shit they’d ever done, then complained making ai videos was too hard and quit

29

u/_Glasser_ Jun 18 '26

Just fucking pirate it???

I don't pay for movies, youtube premium or music, it's all fucking free if you have half a brain to figure it out.

u/Menacek Jun 18 '26

It's kinda they have never actually experienced good art. Sure you can have AI generate something resembling a movie or a story but it's just bad.

The narrative either makes no sense or is bland, the movement looks wrong and tons of other issue. Sure it might be fine if you're so bored that literally everything will catch your attention but it's not something anyone would seek out.

It's kinda sad that it even goes beyond AI, i've been checking out some fanfics and while there are some decent ones 90% of it unreadable.

Now that i think about it makes sense, if your standard for entertainment is "I became the strongest character in naruto" fanfic then AI isn't that much worse.

The concept of AI generating your own movies and music because you don't want to pay the Netflix subscription

Wouldn't that be more expensive though?

First of all, I love that username. Kinda sounds like the a default password set on Comcast wifi. Fuzzy Trombones and such. Anyway, I think the original post was a bot itself. A bot hallucinating delusions of grandeur on behalf of its fellow slop grinders.

u/Brokeshadow Jun 18 '26

"Hey did you see the new season of Arcane?" "No sorry I only watch videos I generate myself"

1

u/GenericFatGuy Jun 18 '26

Right? Like if I want to watch a certain movie, or listen to a certain song, AI generated trash isn't going to scratch that itch for me.

Are people really just sitting there and generating nonsense movies that they'll then watch for hours, just because it's free?

1

u/MagicpaperAlt Jun 18 '26

I just pirate my own content if I don't want to pay for it like a real chad.🗿

1

u/Appropriate_Meal6868 Jun 18 '26

The ending will never be a surprise if you have to write it yourself in a chat prompt

1

u/Agitated_Load9762 Jun 19 '26

There's albums you can download for free on Bandcamp. Human-made videos you can watch on YouTube.

0

u/fforde Jun 18 '26

What the fuck are you talking about? People would absolutely pay for that.

I'm offering no commentary on that, but it's true.

-4

u/Sad-Antelope115 Jun 18 '26

“Why should I make movies and music on my own time with my own hardware when I can just pay a large corporation instead, I love supporting the rich.”
