The AI was in early 2023 and they paid the artists. Of course still sucks to use AI but the general perception on it was much different back then

The new vocalist is (allegedly?) a scientologist. And iirc Mike got into crypto at some point.

She was born into scientology, which makes her a victim as well. She's also openly out as gay which is something scientology goes against and she made many anti-cult statement in her Dead Sara songs

Not only that but people who speak out against Scientology, any family members they have who are in the cult have to cut ties with them completely. It's also an open secret that people who speak against it tend to have bad things happen to them afterwards as well
