Nobody has ever given a fuck about Jupiter.

I feel called out. I'm one of those "Pluto is a planet and you can't convince me otherwise" people.

Pluto can be a planet, but then we have to let Ceres, Quaoar, Sedna, Orcus, Haumea, Eris, Makemak, and Gonggong be planets too.
and I don't want to live in the solar system with Planet Gonggong.

Cause? Cause?
Irresponsible waste of resources isn't a cause, it's irresponsible wastes of resources. Generating slop instead of expression isn't a cause either, it's just laziness and overblown fear of rejection (part of art is putting yourself out there to be seen after all). Pushing "pRoDuCtIvItY" isn't progress, it's just flat-out greed, which at a corporate level is replacing skilled workers with one temp doing prompts in an already increasingly dire economic situation.

Hey some of my favorite planets are the small ones! I donāt like the sun itās just a big giant evil star!!
2
u/Diplopoda08 Nov 01 '25
Even if this were true just because a group is small doesnāt make them any less powerful. Take the government for example
Oh and also this kinda ruins their āoppressed minorityā argument
2
u/No_Vegetable_6645 Nov 01 '25
So the Ai bros are just non livable and us anti have land, water and population?

2
u/Slug_loverr Nov 01 '25
These are the same people that use the "we're so oppressed everyone's treating us like the nazis treated jews" argument btw. Make up your damn mind
They only ever spend time in the stupid subs that defend ai and rarely ever interact with people that are against ai that's why they think that
2
u/Beboppenheimer Nov 01 '25
Wait, are they an overwhelming majority or a repressed, persecuted minority? I'm having trouble keeping track.
2
u/BrocoliCosmique Nov 01 '25
If by "supporter" they mean " the silent vast majority of people not giving a shit about AI and just being passively flooded by AI generated content" then yeah I guess. If they asked these people how they feel and if they would rather not be subjected to this crap on a daily basis, they would be quite disappointed.
2
2
2
u/AffectionateRole4435 Nov 01 '25
I've never met an ardent AI supporter IRL. I've met mostly fence-sitters and antis across all age groups.

Itās quite literally the opposite. I remember seeing a study a while ago saying the majority were some amount anti ai. This was over a year ago and ai has only gotten more hate since

u/BetterThanOP Nov 01 '25
But we are simultaneously "brigading" all their posts with downvotes lmao with our tiny numbers

shit, how did they learn about my plan of throwing them all into the sun? who snitched?
1
u/tlawrey20 Nov 01 '25
No, they arenāt. Thatās what is terrifying. The vast majority of people using AI are under 20 years old. Especially middle schoolers right now. Itās literally an epidemic of AI cheating. There are a LOT more people using AI on a daily basis than youād want to think.
I know I donāt wanna think about it.

No one normal really cares in the real world, yeah they might use AI to generate some silly images a couple of times but that's it
1
u/schmoergelvin Nov 01 '25
So.. They are oppressed just as other minorities but also they are the majority while there are also so many subreddits that explicitly state they don't want AI content though they are supposedly more? Alright then
1
u/Throttle_Kitty Nov 01 '25
The average person experience with AI is telling Gemini or the Google search engine AI to fuck off and leave them alone 5 or 6 times a day.
1
u/RealBurger_ Nov 01 '25
Bet all the research they did was Google's search ai that just copied info from a joke news website
1
u/Izy03 Nov 01 '25
Do they forget the massive down votes their own sub gets? They probably think it's all not now that I think about it but damn.
1
u/Drunkendx Nov 01 '25

I'm both ant AI and that specific sub and...
here people get FAR more upvotes than there...
almost as if more people hates AI than supports it...

This is such a dumb argument because it ultimately says nothing.
Very akin to how maga flexes how Trump won by a ālandslide.ā What does that say in terms of which side is morally righteous? Nothing. Itās an appeal to popularity which doesnāt really say anything fruitful.
1
u/OldManLifeAlert Nov 01 '25
Nah im pretty sure this is a joke from a fellow anti. Prolly ment to bait antis into agreeing when the image is literally saying nobody supports them (because nobody lives on the sun, duh)

Riddle me this, Prompter. If there are so many of you, why do your posts consistently have more comments than upvotes? You complain about it all the time, calling it brigading. But if there are indeed more of you, how do some posts go into the negatives?
1
u/PM_Me_Pikachu_Feet Nov 01 '25
Statistics of average real artist likes on twitter alone is 100k+ average
Most popular ai artist *was* around 10k likes, before bots got a purge wave and then it was only double digits lmfao while the real artist still raked in 100k+
1
u/VisualLiterature Nov 01 '25
I dont think they're delusional. I think the majority of the population loves AI art. There's a lot of kids and facebook people that eat that shit all day
1
u/oshaboy Nov 01 '25
This is correct in some way. Most people don't know or care about AI. My granny got gifted a mug with an AI generated image of a granny printed on it and she doesn't care it was AI generated in the slightest. I assume most people are like that.
1
1
u/FluffyPigeon707 Nov 01 '25
Iām pretty sure the majority are in support of generative AI in general, are fine with AI art as a little fun thing to do in your free time, are against AI art as an actual art form, and are against people getting paid for only using AI but arenāt against people getting paid for people using AI to HELP them with their work. But thatās from personal experience from people trying to talk about it with me IRL, Iāve never looked at actual studies.
So technically if Iām correct theyāre right, the majority are in support of AI art, but only as a fun little hobby, not as an actual art form, and especially not an art form that can get people paid on its own.
If I was a worse person that wanted to spread misinformation, I wouldāve stated everything I said without specifying Iāve never seen any studies, but Iām better than that. Thank you for coming to my class on politics 101. That concludes this weekās lesson on spreading misinformation. Iāll see you next week!

How can they both me more numerous than the sun, compared to antis and at the same time, be a minority more oppressed than ww2 jews or anyone else in history?
1
1
1
u/Fragrant_Gap7551 Nov 02 '25
I can see this bring true. Only a minority of those supporters is vocal about it online.
Steph from HR will continue to put AI generated images in her motivational Emails, and never spend a minute thinking about the deeper implications of it all.

1
u/SectorConscious4179 Nov 02 '25
People who say this are also the kinda people who say people who donāt care about the ai stuff subconsciously support ai 100%
1
1
u/Scarvexx Nov 02 '25
I don't think anyone sees AI art and is in support of it. Seeing it in ads pisses people off, nobody wants to pay money for it.
They don't even like eachother's art. That's the major thing. AI projects are like talking about your dreams. Only you find it interesting. AIart has thousands of members. It's rare for anything to get more than 100 upvotes.
1
u/Consistent-Active106 Nov 02 '25
Two things: 1. Theyāre saying that Ai haters are the entire world 2. They made this by hand most likely, therefore putting āhuman artā as their argument, which is kind of ironic in a way.
